Gripping the brunette’s leg, LJoe begged, “Please don’t call that witch of a schoolgirl. I promise I won’t do anything stupid. Je bal.” ChanHee held his phone in his hand and stared blankly at the ‘ferocious murderer’. By God, is it that bad to call someone? ChanHee thought, shaking the annoying creature off his leg. “I’m calling her for help, I can’t ask a friend to help us? Do you want us to get caught?” ChanHee hissed. LJoe freed the man and crawled pathetically on the ground to the edge of the sidewalk. ChanHee initiated his phone call to his- not so connected- friend. He dialed the number and brought the phone up to his face and waited for the phone call to be answered.

         “Yeboseyo?” the voice said promptly.

         “Hyun Seok? It's ChanHee.”

“Chunji-ssi! How’s your business trip? Where are you now? Did you see anything?”

“My business trip is going great so far. My manager decided that we should go to Japan, and we’re here. We don’t know much about Japan, and he thought about going here on a whim, so maybe you could help us out? You watch animes all the time and you study the language so I assumed you knew something about Japan.”

“Yes I do! Uh, what part of Japan are you guys in?”

“We don’t know…we randomly came here and we can’t read the signs or anything.”

“Oh…that sucks… Wait, maybe I could fly over there and be like your tour guides! I have off from my tutoring and school. I could come there.”

LJoe cupped his hand around his ear to eavesdrop on the enthusiastic conversation they were having. Something about school…ugh…

“Would you really do that? Thank you, we could really use your help.” ChanHee chittered.

“No problem. I’ll see if I can catch a flight or a ferry there. See you!” she cheeped and hung up. The criminal, bored and inattentive, slouched his back and asked, “What did she say?”

“She’s coming here to help us.”

“WHAT?” the lawbreaker stood up as straight as a toothpick and yelled, “No! No! No! Chunji, why do you do this to me? That immature girl is going to come over here and stay with us? Now I have competition! Thanks a lot.” LJoe flounced in a circle and spoke in fragments of a sentence. And he’s calling her immature, jeez, ChanHee thought, hiding his yellow phone away. “You’ll get used to her. She can be a bit nosy at times, but you’ll learn to deal with it.” the rabbit squeaked. How can I accept a girl who’s trying to steal my man? No. LJoe thought aggressively.

For the majority of their time waiting, the couple window-shopped and visited many areas in the town. Still unable to read anything, they stayed in the public tourist attractions and near the ferry port. An hour later, ChanHee received a text from Hyun Seok.

         To: You

         From: Seokkie~

I leave for the ferry in two hours. Is there anything you need in Korea before I go?
