Snuggling against the taller man, LJoe sighed.

“When do we have to go on the run again? I like it like this…” LJoe mumbled. ChanHee laid his head on top of his partner’s.

“I don’t know. I think anyone would think a criminals in a highly guarded island that’s generally the best place in Korea.” Chunji responded. The blonde kissed him lightly on the cheek. Smiling merrily, ChanHee returned the favor and kissed LJoe back. They both laughed and pushed each other’s shoulders like they were a married couple. Intertwined fingers, passionate kisses, and comforting hugs were issued often. ChanHee said he was going to wash in the pond and took extra clothes to the bottom of the waterfall. He forgot to get the soap and crawled back into the cave. LJoe was standing there with Chunji’s suitcase open, holding a bar of soap. The brunette snatched it from his hand and walked to the edge of the cave. As he was about to exit, sneaky Byunghun ambushed ChanHee from behind and pushed him into the pool. Yelling any flailing his arms and legs everywhere; he was taken by surprise and prepared for impact. Splash! He was underwater for less than a minute prior to swimming to the surface. When he did, he looked above him and saw his lover laughing hysterically. Aish… A single scream was heard and all of a sudden the latter decided to jump in. Chunji took action and swam away from where LJoe was going to fall. Another splash hit the surface of the water and Byunghun went under. He didn’t come out of the water; it was a minute and he wasn’t present. Where is he? Scared, ChanHee searched left and right, but he wasn’t seen. He ducked his head underwater and tried to see him. A blurry blob was racing to him and attacked ChanHee.

“Surprise!” LJoe roared. Chunji splashed water on him.

“You scared me to death you pabo!” ChanHee shouted. LJoe stuck his tongue out playfully and splashed small waves of water at Chunji. Both played in the water; enraptured by their own love.

————

Stomach’s growled inside the cave. Chunji laid on the floor, practically starving. LJoe took it like a champ and ceased to be hungry in the past when he was stuck in an elevator for eight hours. ChanHee, on the other hand, was desperate for something to eat.

“Byunghun…can we go and eat something?”

“We’re low on money. Do you want me to steal some?”

“Of course not… Can we see if there’s any cheap places?”

“Like there are any cheap places in Jeju.”

         “Oh yeah…hmm…”

“I’ll have to steal some money, you know that.” LJoe said. Chanhee grabbed LJoe’s arm and tugged at it.

“Please don’t.” ChanHee pleaded. LJoe removed Chunji’s arm and let it hang at his side.

“I have to. You’re hungry and this is the only way to get money for your food.” LJoe stated.

He kissed Chunji and promised he would be back with something to eat. I hope, Byunghun thought. He grabbed his scarf and set off on the path that led to the diverse settlement. People were omnipresent everywhere, which is understandable because of the popularity of the place. I’ll just walk up and steal the cash from them, LJoe thought, seems legit. He walked around like a casual person and went behind an unsuspecting businessman. LJoe slipped his hand into the man’s back pocket and stole the brown wallet from it. Fifty thousand won? Is this man rich or what? LJoe thought, slipping a few thousand back in the wallet to keep him from thinking someone stole all of the money. Next, he placed the wallet back in its rightful place and slithered away. Is this enough for some food? Eh, I’ll just get some more for the future. He remained on the street, pickpocketing normal folk. Luckily no one caught him…or so he thought. An old lady with a fluffy fur coat spotted Ljoe’s bad doing and alarmed the people immediately. She screeched, ”That young man over there is stealing peoples wallets!” LJoe perked up from his slouching position with a wallet and rushed down the jam-packed street. Hearing footsteps behind him, LJoe ran briskly, clutching the wallet for dear life. Hollers and blaring were currently at their highest, but LJoe could not let his lover down. So, he maintained his pace and handled the situation well, running into the forest and away from the path. The running noises behind him were now gone, and he could return to his hungry friend. Being the vigilant man he is, LJoe was full of precautions, sighting for any possible danger. He stumbled in the forest without going on the path for maximum protection and meandered to the other side of the forest. Finding the city, LJoe emerged from the forest and skipped onto the path. He held his scarf close to his face, put the wallet in his pocket, and trudged among the streets. With his countless amount of stolen won, he deemed to find as much cheap food as he could. By chance, he discovered a take out restaurant and market; prices relatively low and the food looked absolutely delicious. Going in, he went right up to the counter and ordered the cheapest items and a lot of them. In the end, he had bags of scrumptious fruit, desserts, and main courses with some free soy sauce. He waltzed out content and joyful, adding a little hop to his walk. Maybe I could buy something else for him, LJoe thought, staring at a gift shop. He sneered in his deviousness and launched his plans.

————

LJoe returned from his adventures and returned to his other half. ChanHee crawled to the crevasse of the cave. He saw the blonde walking to their sanctuary.

“Yah! Where were you all this time!? I’ve been waiting forever!” ChanHee burbled.

LJoe shrugged him off and gave the bags to Chunji. Evasively, Chunji pulled out some food and stuffed it in his mouth. Probing through more bags, he uncovered a thoughtful gift. In the plastic bag laid a stuffed animal rabbit, puffy and adorable holding a plush heart.

“What’s this?” ChanHee pulled the white rabbit out of the bag and sat on the floor.

“A rabbit. Isn’t that what it looks like?” LJoe bickered.

“Why did you get me a rabbit? Is it because I have big ears? Huh?”

“Ani, ani! I got for for you because your innocent…like a cute rabbit…”

“So now I’m innocent and I got eaten by a wolf! I was innocent and now I was falsely accused for a crime I didn’t even commit! Wow. Nice way to start the controversy.” ChanHee quibbled.

ChanHee flounced to the back of the cave and brought the bags with him, eating the dozens of foodstuffs. I buy him the food, he appreciates those, but when I buy him a stuffed animal he goes berserkWhat a pleasant surprise, LJoe thought. He shuffled next to Chunji and held the rabbit in his hand.

“Cute like a rabbit?” LJoe cooed.

ChanHee ignored him and turned his head to the other side.

         “Handsome like a rabbit?”

What is this man thinking…? ChanHee thought.

         “Sexy like a rabbit?”

“I think that’s enough…don’t you know what you’re saying right now?” ChanHee said.

LJoe climbed on top of Chunji swiftly, trapping the taller man in his arms.

“I do know what I’m saying and it’s true!” LJoe squabbled.

“Rabbits aren’t…sexy…” ChanHee disagreed. Laying a finger on the brunette’s mouth, he teasingly grinned.

“Then you’re my sexy rabbit. Other rabbits aren’t. You’re the only sexy rabbit I will ever see in my life.” LJoe pulled him by the collar of his shirt and kissed him lovingly.

Seriously though, what is this man thinking?

I think about a lot of things, but the one thing I think about the most is my rabbit Chunji.
