"Babe," Rey whined, dragging out the last syllable.

"No! How many times do I have to tell you! " Ren huffed. He was getting seriously tired of her clingy bullshit.

"But-"

"No, Rey, I said no. I need some time alone. We aren't attached. " He was doing everything he could to hold his composure. His patience was wearing dangerously thin.

"Are you kidding me? Do you just not want to see me?"

"I see you everyday! I need a break okay?!" He hadn't thought about what he was saying, but it was too late--he couldn't take it back. "No, you know I didn't mean-"

"You know what? Maybe you're right, maybe we do need a break." Rey was pacing back and forth in front of her locker. "Yeah, you're right. I am way too good for you. Thanks for helping me figure myself out, BEN!" As she screamed his name, she slammed her locker and stormed off.

"I dare you to call me that one. more. time." Ren was fuming. Nobody called him by his first name. It was basically a law. Luckily, it was their study hall, nobody was around, but he made sure to text his best friend to complain about it anyway.
