CHAPTER TWO

He wore a blue and red checkered shirt, a Nikon Camera hanging over his neck, he wore jeans and some blue vans. His light brown hair, all styled perfectly and his green eyes sparkled as he smiled. “Uh, hello.” I said shyly, blushing a bit as well.

“I’m your dorm neighbour, I just came to say hello!” He grinned showing his perfect teeth. “I’m Finn by the way.” He took out his hand to shake. “Uhm, Amadea.” I replied smiling a bit as I shook his hand.

His eyes were so mesmerizing. So mesmerizing that I didn’t notice I hadn’t let his hand go – great way to embarrass yourself Amadea! "I’m sorry,” I blushed crimson as I looked down. “Oh it’s alright.” He chuckled. “Oh how rude of me, do you want to come in?” I asked, I was also hesitant and unsure of my offer.

He smiled and walked in anywas, “Oh cool, you really done well at unpacking your stuff.” He looked around and looked back at me as I shut the door, “Do you mind I’d take a few photos?” He asked. I shrugged my shoulders, “uhm sure why not?” I smiled and leaned against the wall, as he took pictures of my room. “So what course are you gonna take here?” I asked trying to make conversation.

“Photography.” He looked up from the lens and waved the camera around. “Oh right, I would've guessed.” I giggled softly. He chuckled as he looked down at his camera to look through the shots he took, "You?”

“Art, mainly drawing or painting.” I answered. “Oh that’s cool.” He said as he took a seat on my bed. He laughed as he reached out and grabbed my plush toy of Garin. “What’s this suppose to be, a mutant dolphin?” He chuckled and took a picture of it as well.

“Uh, it's sort of a uhm... whale?” I questioned my answer. “There’s a whale that looks like this?” Finn held up the toy, pointing at in. I shrugged, “My mom made that, so I don’t know what she was thinking.”

He nodded his head as he set it down, “So Amadea, huh? That’s a pretty cool name.” He complimented. I sighed and looked down, “well you're the first to say that." I said. "I don’t really like it though.”

“It’s cool, it’s like rare and very underrated, I’m into those.” Finn smiled. “Thanks.” I blushed lightly. Finn chuckled as he brought up his camera, taking a picture of me, only to make me blush more. He took two more shots and looked down at it, “My first friend in University.” He smiled down at the photo and back at me. I blushed even more, I must’ve look like a giant tomato cause Finn started to laugh at me. “You look adorable when you blush.” Finn winked.

Was he trying to flirt with me, me out of all people? Well this is something new.

“Uhm so Amadea, where you from?” Finn asked. “Ohio.” I said, taking a seat on my desk chair. “Oh cool.” He smiled and said, “I’m from San Antonio.” He stood up and looked at my photoset above my desk. “How many siblings do you have?” He asked.

“Only one, my brother, Isaac.” I said. He nodded, “I have two sisters, the other one just got married and the other one just started high school.” Finn said, his eyes still fixed at the photoset. “Oh that’s cool.” I smiled, looking out the glass doors. “What’s that?” Finn pointed to a photo. It was a photo of me and Garin, I took it underwater when we were swimming, I was holding onto his mouth, kissing him.

"Uh, that’s a dolphin?” I said as I wanted to slap myself on the face. I should really advance my acting skills, I'm really bad at lying.  “A dolphin that huge?” Finn continued to examine it. “It’s actually an Orca Whale, it was when I visited Oceanpark.” I bit my lip, hoping he'd buy my lie. Finn scrunched his face up in confusion, “Oh, okay?”
