CHAPTER THREE

Troy and Trevor were holding each other’s shoulders as they stared at the girl with another girl behind her, she had dark black hair curled and has piercing blue eyes that contrasted against the rest of her look. She wore a dark shirt and skinny jeans, but she was really slim and tall.

“How’s my Finny-Finn-Finn?” Janet smirked as she took the empty seat beside Finn, whilst the other girl sat down with a blunt expression. I continued eating my sandwich as Troy and Trevor continued to argue with whatever twin arguments they have. “Hey Troy,” I whispered, tapping Troy’s shoulders. “Who’s she?” I asked once Troy turned his head to look at me.

“That’s Janet.” Troy said in a not so good tone, almost sounded like he was annoyed by Janet. “Finn’s overly attached ex-girlfriend.” Trevor smirked. I nodded my head as I laughed softly, Janet was flirting with Finn as Finn was awkwardly just sitting there, trying to shake her off – poor Finn. “Janet cheated on Finn last year during school prom, with the school’s popular jock, Ron.” Trevor told me.

“Her dad owns the Fishing Company here at America.” Trevor explained, “That means she’s rich and if she's rich, she always gets what she wants.”

Troy scoffed, “Spoiled brat.” He muttered under his breath. “Oh, how about the other one?” I asked, looking up at the Gothic girl who was texting away on her latest iPhone technology. “She’s Sophia, she’s cousins with the brat and she’s also the school’s slut, next to Janet of course.” Troy said. I looked up at Sophia, who noticed my staring as she gave me a dirty look and rolled her eyes.

“Why would Finn date Janet anyways?” I asked in disgust. Why would he date the school’s slut? I know Finn enough to know that he's smart enough to realize that dating a slut means trouble. “He got blinded by her fakeness.” Trevor snorted.

Janet was still clinging onto Finn who was pushing her hand off at most times, Finn then stood up, “Guys I’m done eating, let’s go.” He muttered to us. I looked down and stood up too, bringing my tray. “Who’s she?” Janet spat at me. “She’s Amadea, my friend, now excuse us Janet. We’re going to go now.” Finn said as he started to walk away, bringing his tray.

I followed as Troy and Trevor followed behind me. We threw our food in the bin and placed the tray on the set of trays. “She’s so annoying!” Finn groaned. “Well your fault dating her in the first place.” Trevor snorted.

Finn gave Trevor a look, "you're not helping." he says as he walked out of the cafeteria, me following closely behind along with Trevor and Troy. “She just doesn’t know when to give up.” Finn muttered. “Who cares about her anyways, right Finny?” Troy smirked.

“Amadea you alright?” Finn asked, ignoring Troy's remark, “You’ve been awfully quiet.” I just shrugged my shoulders and say, “Just got nothing else to say.” Finn smiled as he continued to walk, “Wanna go hang by the Veranda?” Finn asked. “Sure why not?” Troy shrugged. Finn nodded his head as we made our way to the Veranda.

"Ahh the Veranda, a place so peaceful by the beach’s ocean, people enjoying the fresh breeze and the sound of the ocean’s crashing.” Finn leaned onto the railing looking out, he took out his camera from his backpack and took pictures. I smiled and looked out to the open sea, then saw the bridge far out, remembering last night’s swim with Garin.

I wonder what Garin does when he’s trying to hide away – probably eating again or maybe just swimming around. “Hey Amadea,” I looked up at Finn who has his camera pointed at me. “HEY!” I screeched as he took a picture, he laughed at me as he checked on it. “Nice.” Finn gave a thumbs up, I rolled my eyes and continued to look at the ocean; trying to find atleast a glimpse of Garin swimming about.
