CHAPTER FIVE
I stood up, pressing my toes into the sand, the grains just filling up the spaces between them. I took in a deep breath, just enjoying the cool ocean breeze. De ja vu all over again. I smiled widely and looked at Garin who was just staring at me, his haunting yet amazing eyes just twinkled. "Garin, how long have I been out?" I asked.
"Not too long, just a day." I frowned slightly. What day was it today? I remember it was a Saturday before I had completely passed out. So it has to be, MONDAY! I have classes today! Panicking, I was pacing around, "Oh no, oh no, oh no, oh no.."
I bit my lip nervously. "Is anything wrong Amadea?" Garin asked in concern. "I have classes today! I'm not gonna be able to attend it, this is gonna go into my records!" I ran my fingers through my dried and rough hair. So I've been passed out for a day here and no one has been able to look for me?
"I can give you a ride, if you like." I looked at him. I took off the vine that was wrapped around my ankle, "But you'll get caught." You see, this beach was somehow far off from where my University was and that beach that had the bridge dividing them off.
So it will take me about nearly an hour for me to reach my university by feet. Knowing I probably am as slow as a turtle.. "I think I already was." I sighed deeply as I looked at him for another moment. "What exactly happened the other night Garin, when you grabbed me." He just stared at me and it was filled with silence, except for the waves crashing.
"I grabbed you and went over the bridge. I knew that they saw me." My eyes widen, they saw him going over the bridge when he's not suppose to do that. "Why did you do that?!" I exclaimed. "It was only the way to escape."
I knew that doing that dive without me knowing could've killed me, but how did I managed to survived that? "But how did I managed to ace that dive? I didn't held in any air or anything!" Garin's eyes turned a bright golden color as he just stared deeply into my eyes.
I then felt a really cool breeze slapping against my face. An electricity shooting through my veins, sparks if I could more likely to explain. It was as if that feeling that made you feel so alive. I could hear my heart beating, it was very calm. I felt, really good. "W-what?" "I transported some energy into you."
How is that even impossible?
I furrowed my brows slightly, "We need to talk to Grandpa."I muttered. "But your grandparent's house is quiet far off from here." He has got a point. "How about we just head back to the University, you can drop me off at the pier there." I said.
"Alright, climb on." I slowly got down and jumped in the water. I went to the surface and climbed on Garin's back. I held onto his fin, as he started to swim. It was still bright and day. So If I'm not mistaken, it was still morn.

I stood on the pier, I looked back at Garin as he just stared back. "I'll be back alright? I'll just get dressed then I'm going to go to grandpa and grandma's house." I told him, "You'll be alright?" He bobbed his head up and down. "Promise?"
"Promise." I smiled and leaned down to kiss his head, that wet feeling felt on my lips. "See you later Garin."He turned around and splashed me with his fin and swam off. I let out a laugh and said, "Be safe."
I walked down the pier, reeking of salt water. I walked up the stairs and headed towards the dorm rooms. I walked down the hallway, taking a look at the clock on the wall. It read 12:15pm. It was Lunch time. I knew that everyone had gone out their classes and off to have lunch break for the next hour. I sighed, hoping not to bump into anyone familiar or whoever to be precise. It would be really embarrassing to walk into somebody smelling horrible, and in fact looking disgustingly terrible.
