I widen my eyes and look at the man. I shift back and look at him.
"What your name?" He asks Emma. "Emma." She says while blushing. "Emma, thats a bieutiful name. My name is Caleb." He says. "Caleb." Emma says testing it out. "I like it." She says smiling at him.
He smiles back at her. I walk up to him so that we are face to face.
"Loralie what are you...?" Emma starts to say but I cut her off. "Just give me a second." I say looking at her.
She nods her head and I look back at Caleb.
"You listen to me," I whisper to him. "You hurt her...i will hunt you down and kill you. You got that?" I say in a very low growl. "Are you threatening me?" He asks. "Ya...i guess I am." I say while smirking. "Ok...i respect those conditions, but you wont have to worry, I would never even think of hurting her. " He says while looking at Emma. "Ok, I'm convinced. Take care of her, please?" I ask him with pleading eyes. "I promise." He says sincerely, this time looking at me.
I nod and give Emma a last hug.
"Call me if anything happens. Ok?" I whisper to her. "Promise." She whispers back.
They wave goodbye as they both leave and go back into the woods to go back to the building, hand-in-hand. I smile and then dive back into the water not pop my head out on the other side of the falls to climb into the cave where Hannah was waiting for me.
"What happened to Emma?"she asks. "She found her mate." I reply. "Oh... Ok. Good for her." She said and smiles. "Hey Loralie?" "Ya Hannah?" "I'm tired." She says with a yawn. I laugh. "Ok. Lay on my lap." I shift into my wolf and she cuddles close to me. I listen to the sound of crickets as the night falls.
