The woods

Werewolves. The predators of the night. The ones who are part man, part beast that howl at the full moon. Wait...if my parents are werewolves then that would mean I'm also....no. I shake my head clearing that thought. There was no way in hell that I was also one. I have never  remembered changing into a wolf and trust me, its not something you would forget if you did. But it would maybe explain my uncontrollable anger issues that I had when I was little. No way, I have to stop thinking about that. I'm not a werewolf and there is no way I could be one. Although I'm never cold, I have never turned into a werewolf on a full moon so that proves my theorie. I look around and realise that while I was thinking I have wandered further into the forest. Crap! I'm lost! Wonderful! I wander around a little forgetting about the main rule of when your lost, to not go wandering around and try to find your way out or you will get more lost, which ended up happening. What I finally did was start building a fire and lighting it with the matches from my bag. I laid down close to the fire and my eyelids become very heavy.

I wake up and realise its already morning. I tie my flashy pink scarf around the tree were my stuff is and walk around to try and find some berries or something to eat. I walk back to the place with my scarf, pockets full of wild strawberries and raspberries. The rest of the day I drew in my sketchbook, a wolf with a black coat and the bluest eyes ever. When night time came again, I put everything into my bag, extinguish the fire and climbed up a tree. I sit on a sturdy branch and roll a long piece of chord I had in my bag around my legs and the branch to make sure I didnt fall off. Sleep catches up with me fast and all I remember is falling asleep in the tree.

I wake up to the sound of the ground rustling and branches cracking. Its still the middle of the night and I look around. I hear the noise again but this time with a low, deep growl. I untie the rope as fast as I can, shove it into my back and climb a little higher, then glue myself to the tree making me invisible in the night. No more than a couple seconded later wolves come out of the trees. Not 1 or 2 but 4 wolves. These were the biggest wolves I have ever seen. I mean like they were almost twice the size of normal wolves and they all walked together in a pack. One of them was white as snow, another was caramel colored, the other had a blue-gray ish tint and the last one had a coat that was as black as the night. I wouldn't have spotted him if it wasn't for his blue, blue eyes. The wolf from my drawing. Realization hit me like a wave on the shore, this was the exact wolf from my drawing, the only thing I was wondering was why did I draw this wolf in particular. As I was thinking of the possibilities I accidentally slid my foot onto a small branch that breaks off and falls to the floor.

"What was that?" I hear a voice say.
"Its another werewolf, I can smell him." I hear another say.
"I will go get the alpha, you guys stay here and catch that guy!"
"Yes beta!" I hear them all say in unison.

Wolves that talk? Wait...these were werewolves, actual live werewolves. They split up and searched for me. The only this is...they didnt think to look in the trees. As soon as they were gone, I waited another minute to make sure they were gone and climbed down. As soon as I hit the surface, I was sprinting as if my life was depending on it, because it kinda did. But there was so many twigs and dry leaves on the ground that I was making so much noise that every sound was like a booming noise giving away my position and disturbing the peaceful night. In no time the wolves were chasing me and catching up with me.

"We've got him." One of them say

Then out of nowhere a tree root appears and my stupid clumsy feet trip over it making me fall flat on my face. The wolves circle me in an instant. I feel their hot breath on the back of my neck. I keep my head down.

"This werewolf boy is very clumsy to have tripped over that root."
"It doesnt even seem like he is one of us."
"Thats because I'm not and I am a girl for your information!" I say with such pride that there was an awkward silence afterwards.
"Wait she can hear us?" The white wolf says to the caramel one.
"Of course I can. Its not like you guys are whispering." I say back a bit offended.

They both look at each other in confusion.

"How is it that she can hear us? I thought only pack members could hear pack mind links." Said the white one
"I thought that as well. Still, we need to take her." The caramel one sais impatiently.

In fear I back up fast, but a little too fast because I hit my head against a bid boulder causing me to pass out.
