Break in

Loralie's P.O.V

It's time for the mating games. All us girls are lined up on the white line, dressed in our black jumper and the gun goes off. We all rush in opposite directions, I don't run off into the cave this time, I run and climb the tallest tree in the arena. I sit down on the tallest sturdy branch and look at the scenery bellow. 15 minutes pass and I see the boys line up on the white line and then run off once the gun was shot. They go and sniff the air like they are the hunter and the girls were their prey. I rolled my eyes at the hoots and hollers they were yelling when all of a sudden there is a huge explosion and a lot of smoke coming from the north side of the arena.  I jump down and land silently with no noise. Damn being a werewolf is cool!

Anyways, I run the the north side to check out what the hell happened. When I arrive, I look through the smoke to see a hole in the arena wall...wait what??? I approach and look into the wall to see only darkness. Then the wind picks up and the most amazing smell hits me. I close my eyes and take a deep breath.

"MATE!!!" Nina yells in my head while jumping around all over the place. 

I frantically look around but could not find the source where the amazing smell was coming from. Pine and mint. Sooooooo goooooood!

 "All of the people of the mating games, please come back to the main building immediately. All people..." the intercom said repeating itself.

I look deep inside the hole and take a long, deep breath.

"MATE IS DOWN THERE!!!! GO FIND MATE!!!" Nina yells pacing in my head.

I nod my head and cautiously walk into the hole. As i walk further, the smell get's stronger so I start jogging to go faster without realizing that I have gone so far into the hole that I can no longer see any light. I look around in the dark waiting for my eyes to adjust. I start to freak out a little because I have never liked the dark and run in a whole bunch of different directions to try and find the light again. I stop running and breath heavily while my heart beat grows so strong that I can hear it in my ears... I am never getting out of here. Breath Loralie breath. All of a sudden I hear a noise. I shift halfway into my wolf so that only have my ears,  teeth, claws and tail. My ears perk up at another sound and I sprint in the opposite direction from where the noise came from. While I am running in complete darkness I trip over something and come crashing down to the ground. I fully shift back into my original state and scoot backwards from where I hear footsteps approaching. What the hell is going to happen to me? Out of the darkness arms come and wrap around me making me stop right in my tracks. Sparks ignite where the person is touching me. Wait hold up! Sparks?? 

"Mine!" I hear a manly someone growl huskily into my ear making me shiver.
