After about 10 minutes of running Hannah and I hear another gun shot followed by a whole bunch of hoots and hollers. The boys have been released. Hannah stops running and breathes heavily.
"Loralie...i cant run...anymore...too...tired" she gasps out.
I laugh a little and shift into my brown wolf. She climbs on my back, hangs onto me very tightly and I continue running. (play song now) The song "run boy run" plays through my head while I am running. All of a sudden I hear a whimper in the trees. I go to look and see a girl cowering away. Hannah gets off my back, I shift and then I go see her.
"She...hey its ok, I wont hurt you. My name is Loralie and this is Hannah. Whats your name?" I calmly ask. "Emma." She whispers. "My name is Emma." "Well Emma..." I say testing out the name, she looks up at me. "Would you like to come with Hannah and I? Were going to find a waterfall to hide our scent and stay there. So would you?" I ask.
She looks up at me and smiles.
"Yes please." She whispers.
Emma shifts into her gray wolf

And me into my brown one. Hannah climbs onto my back and then we continue running. We finally arrive at the end of the river where it flows into a little pond with a waterfall at the top. I shift back and Hannah climbs off my back as I walk to the edge of the pond.
"Give me a second, I will be back. I just want to check it out." I say.
They both nod at me and I dive into the warm water. I open my eyes underwater and swim further. I swim underneath the waterfall the pop my head to see that behind it is a cave. Perfect, I think. I swim back to the girls and get out of the pond.
"There is a cave behind the falls. We have to swim underneath it though. Can you guys swim?" I ask.
They both shake their heads Jo and I sigh.
"Ok so I'm going to bring Hannah binder first then, I promise Emma, I will come back for you." I tell them. "Ok!" Hannah says. "I trust you Loralie. Just please be quick." Emma whimpers. "Of course." I respond firmly.
Hannah hurriedly hops on my back, again, and we jump into the water. I swim the closest I can get to the falls and then tell Hannah to hold her breath. Then we go underneath. We pop our heads out of the water and I help Hannah into the cave but before I can take another breath Emma screams.
"LORALIE!!! HELP!! "
I duck back underwater and at full speed I swim to her. I jump out of btw water and before I even hit solid ground I have already shifted into my wolf. I stand in front of Emma to shield her from the intruder coming out of the woods, making branches crack under its feet. I growl and the person growls back a manly growl. Its a man. He steps out of the woods and then stops, and stares...but at who? I turn around and see that Emma is also staring. I cock me head to one side confused and Emma snaps out of her trance and looks at me.
