We arrived in Hasetsu, Japan yesterday and thankfully Mila, Yurio, and i are all in different hotels. Im thankful for it mostly because i dont have to hear them constantly arguing and bickering all the time; its so obvious we're siblings because of it. "Makkachin, stay here. im gonna go to the local ice rink to practice, be back later!", i say as if Makkachin would respond to me or something, but hes just a dog; well, not just a dog. Hes my best friend next to Chris because Makkachin was my first new friend when i moved back to Russia and high school there was hell.

I start to jog while listening to my music as im jogging to the ice rink. 'Famous last words - My Chemical Romance', plays and i start to slightly hum along to the lyrics but also enjoying the scenerey along the way, noticing how snow covers all the side walks, the tree's, and the tops of peoples houses. Some people shoveling snow by their houses reminds me of how it is in Russia; it snowed there so much that i always had to help mom and dad shovel the snow and grandpa couldnt do it because it would always hurt his back, but at least hes okay. I look at the sky and pause my music before entering the rink.

'I miss you mom and dad. I hope you guys are proud of me.', i think before taking out my headphones and turning off my phone, then heading inside the rink and looking at the ice to see someone skating on there, but its just one person. I go to the front desk and ring the bell, waiting for someone to come out and help me. A minute later, a familiar face comes out and smiles brightly at me. "Viktor, its good to see you! What are you doing here?", Yuuko smiles and lets go of our hug, i almost forgot about me being here for a while. "Im training here for a while until the next competition.", i say; not really trying to brag or anything because i hate skaters like that who brag about their training and stuff and like winning competitions while thinking they're better than everyone else (coughJJcough).

Yuuko hands me a pair of skates and i go over to a bench, taking off my shoes and putting on my skates and tieing them. I stand up and go over to the barrier when i see the familiar face i saw skating earlier stop skating and he smiles at me. "Viktor, its good to see you pal! we never really get to hang out outside of competitions or banquets anymore!", Phitchit says hugging me and i hug him back; its good to see my old friends again. "I agree, im here training for a while so we should hang out sometime.", i wink at him as he nods, then putting on his safe guards and sitting on the bench, obviously waiting to see my routine for this year. I smile at him and go on to the ice after taking off my safe guards.

Time skip brought to u by here comes the angst

It was really good to see my old friends and catch up with them, but i got hungry and it is getting kind of late so i decided to go to the store to get some food, then im gonna head back to the hotel and ither sleep or take a nap; depending on the time its gonna be by the time i get back.

Upon grabbing some sushi, i accidentally bump into someone and we both fall backwards. But when i got up, was a face i thought i'd never see again. "Ah-! Oh my, You're Viktor nikiforov! Im sorry!", he bowed as i just sat there; my heart breaking at the voice and sight of the one person i never expected to see ever again. Let alone, alive. In front of me was the man i fell in love with in High school. Yuuri katsuki. He only knew me as a famous skater; not as his best friend from all those years ago.... My heart shattered. Yuuri doesnt remember me.
