What Levi failed to tell Thalia was it was the best tea had had ever tasted in his entire life. So many bountiful flavors danced off his tongue and he found he had consumed the entire teapot in little to no time. When Petra returned later that evening to present him with an apologetic pot of tea, the taste made him gag reflexively much to the soldier's hurt.
"But, sir, you've never had a problem with my tea before!" But he couldn't drink it. It was the wrong temperature, bitter flavor, disgusting color...It just didn't taste good. Not after tasting the nectar from the gods which Thalia brewed for him.
"You know, I met one of the other cadets today from Jaeger's class," Oluo had yawned at dinner that night in the cafeteria. "She's really pretty...purple hair...Gato!"
"She is pretty!" Petra had agreed with a smile. "I remember seeing her mother only once when I was much younger. The woman had looks that could kill!"
"You shouldn't be ogling children, Oluo!" Gunther snapped at him.
"Trust me, Gunther, one look at this girl and she doesn't have the word child anywhere near her-,"
"That's enough, I agree with Gunther," Levi finally objected, perterbed to be hearing them speak of the girl. Eld Jinn merely sighed as he watched this entire exchange. Levi stared down at his disgusting excuse for a cup of tea he had tried to make....He would have to find some excuse to make the little runt go make him tea one more time... then again, he would be overseeing her punishment in the stables tomorrow afternoon....And right around tea time...

"You got in trouble again?" Mikasa stated dubiously, setting down her polishing cloth from maintaining her gear. "What the hell did you do this time, Thalia?!" Before I could answer, Eren burst through the doors of the Armory with a jubilant smile on his face, Mikasa looking up at him expectantly.
"Guess who doesn't have stable duty today!?" He laughed happily, racing over to us. "Captain Levi said I was excused so I get to hang out with you guys today!"
"Oh, Thalia," Mikasa spoke softly and my head hit the wooden table I sat at. It reeked of polish and oil.
"What? You guys aren't happy? What did I miss?" Eren asked cluelessly as I sulked. Armin had been sitting at the table with us and as he peered over he gave a small reassuring smile that I couldn't see with my face planted into the table.
"Ah, Eren, it would seem that the reason you don't have stable duty is because Thalia does," Armin gently explained with a small laugh, setting his rotating back piece on the table after tirelessly gripping it for so long. I heard a confused grunt from Eren and I lifted my head up to look at my obnoxious, brown haired friend.
"Thalia...you didn't have to volunteer for stable duty like that-,"
"I didn't volunteer, numbskull!" I snapped at him, throwing a small wrench at him. It hit him in the shoulder and he flinched, glaring at me. "I got in trouble,"
"Again?!"
"Yes, again!" I growled impatiently. I could hear snickering down the line from Connie and Jean and I sent a sharp glare their direction. "Do you have something to say to me!?"
"No," Jean chuckled and Connie burst out into a fit of laughter.
"She probably got in trouble for staring at the Captain again!" Connie wheezed and I glowered at him, standing abruptly from the table. I grabbed for the closest object, a spare blade until Mikasa quickly swapped it with a screwdriver, and I stomped over to the two.
