"You have good tastes, guys!" Harmony and I said as we finished off the two Coreys' plates. I finished Corey Haim's order of ribs, and Harmony finished Feldman's order of pizza. When we were done, I said, "Well, now I know we're really friends!"
Corey H cocked his head, "What do you mean?"
"Well, in Upper Michigan, where I moved from, you never share food unless the person's your friend. We take food very seriously haha!"
They all chuckled. Harmony knew what it was like, she moved here with me. She didn't come from the nicest family, and when they slipped up, my Mom adopted her. We had always been close, but now we were really sisters!
"Guess we are, then!" Corey F said. "Now, care to show your two new friends the secret spot?"
Harmony and I looked at each other. "Follow us."
We paid the bill, and walked outside. I forgot that the secret spot was out by the beach. "Do you think your folks would care if you went to the beach for a little bit?"
They looked at each other, confusion and excitement flickering in their eyes. "Probably not." Corey H said.
"I'm sure they won't mind." Feldman stated.
"Alright! Let's go!" We walked to the beach, Harmony and I in the lead.

"Are we there yet?" Feldman asked.
"A soon as we go up this hill. . . ." I said over my shoulder. Our spot was up a fairly large hill, and inside the twists and turns of a fairly deep cave. "I suggest staying close to me and Harmony. It can get tricky on this hill. You need to know just where to step." As a result, Haim held my hand then walked closer to me. I stopped at the base of the hill. It was made out of sand, but there were some large rocks buried underneath, and Harmony and I knew just where they were. I let go of Corey's hand and jumped on the first rock, which was barley visible underneath all the sand. I stepped onto the second, motioning for Haim to come. He followed my lead, as did Harmony. Feldman, however, wanted to see just what would happen if he didn't step on the rock. He sank into the sand.
"Agh! Help! Help!" He was waist deep in sand. I don't know how it happened, but the sand here wasn't very packed. Harmony gave him her hand, but not before calling him stupid. She pulled him up, and they stood there, trying to both exist on the first rock. After we finally tackled the hill, we had to slide down on the other side.
"So, we climbed up here for nothing?" Haim asked, seeming irritated.
"No! That's the only way you get here, trust me." I looked up at him. He was taller than me by four inches. I was 5'3" and he was 5'7".
He smiled. "We just met and you're asking me to trust you?"
"If you didn't, you wouldn't be here."
"Touché. But are you sure you just didn't want to catch me alone?"
I turned and looked at the trail. My face was getting red. Did he know I liked him? "Why would I want to catch you alone?"
"I don't know. I was hoping you'd say yes, though." He walked towards me. I didn't know where Feldman and Harmony were, but they were slow. "Hey." He turned my face towards his. Before I knew what was happening, he kissed me. I was shocked. Had he even kissed me?
"You're lips are so soft." He whispered. He had kissed me. That's when I realized I tasted cigarette. Not the best taste, but I could live with it.
"Thanks." I realized he wasn't in front of me. I felt an arm loosely around my waist, and a body pressed into me from behind. I knew what I should've said, but I was still shocked. I felt his mood change to impatient. I had to make a move, now. I turned to face him. His hands went to my butt. My instincts flared up, telling me to get out of there. Like an idiot, I ignored them. "How 'bout another taste?"
He smiled. "Don't mind if I do." He leaned in and kissed me, longer this time. Harmony and Feldman came up, holding hands and talking. They seemed like they had a good time, wherever they had been.
"Ooh! Ana! Get it!" Harmony yelled. On instinct, I pulled my reddening face away, just in time to see Harmony lead Feldman towards us. She looked at where Corey's hands were on me, then walked right up to him.
"Listen, boy. Treat her well. If you hurt her, I will find you, and I will kill you!"
Oh God, Harmony! Haim looked undeterred. Instead, he smiled, a challenge in his eyes. He swept me off my feet and carried me wedding style, running away from my friend, who was chasing him with Corey F. He slid down the hill, and I wrapped my arms around his neck, squealing. Haim couldn't get up, so he laid there, breathing hard. I rolled off of him. It was dark and the stars were out. It was beautiful. He took my hand. "This is the most fun I've had in forever. And we haven't even gotten to the secret club yet."
