"Well, a good guy would probably get uncomfortable and tell you that this isn't right. . ." He raised an eyebrow and gave me a dangerous look. "But I'm not a good guy, am I?"
"Depends on what you mean." Leave it to me to ruin a perfectly good moment.
"What?" I couldn't believe he didn't understand, and because of his confusion, the moment was vanishing.
"Like, what you do isn't good, but deep down, you're good. I see it in you." Maybe that's why it was hard to leave him. He hurt me, but when I looked at him, the only thing I saw was the good person inside.
"I had a feeling you were different!" He smiled before kissing me.
The feeling from before surged up and hit me like a freight train! I was overcome by want. Wanting to touch him, to feel his body against mine, wanting to get to know the real Corey Haim. I put my hands on the sides of his neck. The kissing became more intense as he slide his hands down to my butt. He pulled me closer, making the emotion that was already strong stronger. I pressed my body into his, and he turned his body so we ended up laying on the couch. I was on top of him, kissing him, my hands tangled in his dirty blonde/ light brown hair. He had one hand on my upper back and one on my butt.
"Get it, Haimster!"
We stopped. I looked at Corey Haim, who shrugged. "It's okay. I got this." He smiled, giving me a quick kiss then asking me to get off. I got off, and Corey walked towards Feldman. They talked for a little bit. Feldman laughed and stepped back, which was when I saw Harmony. I stared at her wide-eyed, and she walked towards me. I can't believe she saw that! Then again, that moment was supposed to be between just me and Corey! I sat down on the couch.
"Dude, its fine. You and Corey were really gettin' it on!" She teased.
I felt my face get red. "Yeah. Where have you and Corey been?"
It was her turn to blush. "We just walked around the block."
"Yeah, sure. Now what really happened?"
"Well, we actually did walk around the block. . . . Then we went to his house."
I put my hand on my mouth. "Did you. . . ."
She crinkled her nose. "No! We got about as far as you two. Then we watched a movie."
I realized I hadn't seen either of them in school today. "Where were you guys during school?"
"We were there for half the day, then it got boring. We decided to skip and go to a nearby carnival."
"What?!" Why would she do that?! Does she want to fail?!
Not picking up on anything I was putting down, she smiled. "I know, right?! You never wanted to skip with me, but now I have someone who will. You know, if you wanted to skip, Haim probably would. Then we could all hangout together!"
Yeah, no. I'm not dying because I skipped then drowned in homework! "Why if I skip? What, did you ask him and he said no?" I chuckled. I figured if they had asked him, he would've gone. With or without me.
"Feldman did. But he said no 'cause you were meeting him after school. It was weird. Feldman said that Haim would've blown off his old girlfriends anytime he had the chance, but your the one girlfriend he won't ditch!"
"Really? Wait, why did you say girlfriend?"
Her face got red, realizing she had spilled the beans. "Yeah. Don't tell Corey I told you, though. And don't tell Haim, either. It was supposed to be a surprise."
"Wait, he's going to ask me out?"
She just smiled.
"Oh my gosh! Really? Harmony, this isn't a funny joke. . . ."
"Really! And would I be lying?!"
We silently squealed, jumping up and down on the couch like two five- year- olds who learned they were just getting a puppy.
"Anastasia! Harmony! What time do you have to get back?" Haim asked.
"We should probably get going. . . ." I said, looking outside. It was getting dark.
"Do you have to?" Feldman asked, mainly to Harmony.
"Yeah. Would your mom kill you if you were a little bit late?" Haim turned to me, a pleading look in his eyes.
"I'm sorry. And yeah, she probably would."
Corey didn't like this idea. He looked hurt.
"Babe, I'm sorry. But if we're not home in time, and mom is waiting, she's gonna blow a gasket and. . ."
"I know, I know. I just. . . . What if I walked you home? If you'll get in trouble if I go with you you don't have to say yes. . . I just thought-"
I put my finger on his lips. "It's okay. I would love you to walk me home."
