The rest of night was amazing! No creeps trying to drug Harmony and I, no fights between me and Corey, just going on rides and having fun! We ate cotton candy then went on the Twister (which was probably my favorite ride!), and kissed under the stars. They walked us home.
"You know," Corey looked at Feldman and raised his eyebrows. "We could, um... stay the night. Just to make sure no one comes and tries somethin', of course."
I gave him a look. "Yeah, I'm sure." I shook my head and laughed. "You have that jacket on that I used?"
He tugged on his jacket. "Don't go anywhere without it!"
I chuckled. "Well then, I know you wanna do more than protect us from robbers, mister!"
He blushed. "Uh, no. N-not necessarily! I mean, if you want to... that's cool, but.... I'm a goner, aren't I?"
I grabbed his shirt, pulled him until his face was inches from mine, and smirked. "Yup. Baby, it's okay. You were a goner once I saw that jacket!"
"Give me a little bit of sugar before you kill me, will ya?!"
"Should I honor the dead man's wish?" I asked Harmony.
She rolled her eyes then smiled. "Go for it, man."
I turned to Corey. I still had his shirt in my hand. "Looks like your a dead man with a little luck." I turned and lead him into the house, with Harmony and Feldman close behind. I dragged him all the way up to my room, then let go of him and sat on my bed. He stood over me, smiling. "So, am I gonna need that thing?"
I blushed. I really wanted to say yes, but I knew better.  Before I could answer, he smirked, then bit his lip.
"So, I'll keep it in case, then."
My face got even more red. "No, no. No. You're not gonna need it." Ugh!
"Just in case?"
I rolled my eyes. "Just in case, sure." I realized I hadn't honored his wish, yet. "Now come here." I said as I put my hands gently on his cheeks, and kissed him softly. He kissed me back just as tenderly. The kiss was as soft as butterflies, but inside of me was turmoil. I wanted to do so much more with him, but I was only fifteen. I know better, but he just does it so damn good....
"Woah." I heard Harmony say. We stopped kissing.
"What?" I was a little upset she had ruined the moment.
This time Feldman answered. "You guys makin' a promise, there?"
What? What did that mean? "What are you talkin' about, Feldman?" Corey asked.
"Haim, buddy. Listen. I've never, in a million years, seen you kiss a girl for that long. I was just wonderin' if you were promising her something before you go to war."
"Shut up, will ya?"
Feldman laughed. "Just tellin' the truth." He wrapped an arm around Harmony.
Corey turned back to me and rolled his eyes. "I don't know that kid."
"Yeah, sure! Ha ha!"
Corey smiled. "Now, why don't I just jump in there real quick...."
"Do you have your pajamas?"
He stopped mid jump. "I was thinking I'd just take my stuff off and we'd be good."
I looked him up and down. "How much of your stuff, mister?"
I caught him off guard. He blushed. "Umm, just my shirt and uh, my uh... shoes. Oh and maybe umm... my... shorts?"
I laughed. "I was just messing with you! Come on, save me from all the bad people, ha ha!"
He smiled, then after changing, successfully jumped into the bed. He put an arm around my waist and pulled me close. "Okay, baby. I'll save you." He kissed the back of my head.
He didn't see, but I smiled. "Night, babe."
He got comfortable. "Night."
