"Babe." I whispered, out of breath. "I'm so tired." Things had been heated for the time that had passed. Kissing and... other stuff... was tiring. He rolled off, facing me.
"Yeah, me too. Why don't we just..." He slipped his hand around my waist. " ...cuddle for a little bit?" He closed his eyes. "Oh!"
"What? What?"
"We have to get going! The surprise.... Feldman! Yo, where are you?!" Corey Haim got out of bed with nothing but his under wear on.
I got up and draped my arms over his neck, pressing my stomach into his back. "What's going on?"
"I have something for you. And if..." He shouted "...Feldman doesn't come quick, the surprise will be ruined!"
"I'm up, I'm up!" Harmony and Feldman were in her bed. He only had his underwear on, too.
"What?" Harmony whined. She got up, in her underwear as well.
"We gotta go!" Haim said as he put his pants on.
"What is he so worked up about?"
"We really gotta go! We have to get you home before dark, and the surprise is by the beach, and-" He was trying to gather his things.
"Babe, calm down." I said as I touched his arm then started to help him. "We'll get there in enough time, trust me." I picked up his jacket, and a small, little plastic square fell out. He swiped it up as fast as he could.
"Corey, what was that?"
His face got red. "Uh... that? Oh, that was nothing."
"Babe...." I crossed my arms.
"I'm positive."
Okay, so he didn't want to tell me what it obviously was, but I wasn't going to confront him in front of Feldman and Harmony. "Okay." I handed him his jacket.
He took my hand and raced me out the door. "Corey, wait!" He stopped.
"What?"
"I need to put my contacts in and... oh yeah! I don't have any clothes on!"
He looked me up and down, his cute side smile on his face. "I kinda like this outfit, though."
I put my arms around his neck. "I'm glad you do, but I'm positive the public won't." I walked back into my room, Corey close behind me. "Hold on, mister." I said as I stopped him in the doorway. "You can't come in here with me."
He looked bewildered. "What? Why not?"
"I'm changing. You don't get to see me change yet." I slowly closed the door. I was alone in the room, so I figured Harmony had already changed. I put my ripped jeans on, changed my underwear and bra, but couldn't decide on a top. "Corey?" I asked.
"Yeah?" He tried to come in, but I had locked the door. "Aw, come on!"
I unlocked the door. "Which top should wear?" I asked as I held top number one up to my body.
"I kinda like you with just jeans and a bra. . . ." He looked at me. Then, shaking out of his trance, added, "But we're running out of time! Just pick one and let's go!"
"Which one makes my eyes pop more?"
"You're eyes are bluer with this one." He was growing impatient, quickly handing me the blue top.
"Okay." I shooed him out, pushing him.
"It's just you putting something over your head!"
I closed the door and locked it.
It rattled. "Come on!"
I smiled, then pulled the shirt over myself. I unlocked the door.
"Ready to go now?" Corey was extremely anxious.
"Yeah." I started walking. "What are you waiting for, slow poke?" I teased.
"Oh, ho ho! You're gonna pay for that!" Corey shouted. I squealed and ran away, but he caught me. He picked me up wedding style and ran out the door, and onto his two person bike.
"I didn't know you had a two person bike!"
"Just got it!" He was in the front. "Close your eyes! I'll tell you when to open them!"
"Okay!" I closed my eyes. I heard Feldman and Harmony next to us. After awhile....
"Open 'em!"
