There was still a surprise left over from last night, but apparently we couldn't see it yet. Corey and I rode the two person bike, but Harmony didn't want to.
"Why can't we just take the two person bike?" Feldman asked.
"Ugh. Because I hate it. It's weird!" She made a face.
We laughed. So Feldman got pegs on his bike, and Harmony was the first to ride on them. We went Marko's quick to get some dessert, then rode to a public part of the beach.
"Okay. Everyone got their swimsuits?" Corey asked.
"Yeah." We all answered. We went to find the changing rooms. When we found them, we split up. Harmony and I went into the girl's changing room. My swimsuit had a white top with lace and white bottoms, and Harmony's was a light blue bikini.
"So, how are you and Haim?" Harmony asked over her shoulder, putting on her top.
"Great. He's amazing! " I sighed dreamily. "How 'bout you and Feldman?"
"Amazing. He's so hot and funny!" She sighed, as well. "I'm so glad this all happened." We finished changing, then continued the conversation outside, waiting for the two Coreys.
"Me too. How did we get two actors? They could have any girl, but they chose us."
"I don't know how we got them, but they're lucky they got us."
"What do you mean?"
"Oh, I meant Haim was lucky he got you."
"What?"
She chuckled. "You're supposed to be the smart one! I mean, every guy who's had a crush on you, you push them away. It's like you're afraid or somethin'. That's stupid though, isn't it?"
I chuckled. "I don't know.... Maybe I'm afraid? I don't know." This was my first relationship. I just didn't like the boys who had a crush on me.... Right? Or was being afraid the reason I've never had one before?
"Why?"
"I, I don't know! It's stupid, really." I said in a tone that told her to drop it. She held up her hands. Luckily the two Corey's walked towards us before things got even more tense and awkward.
Corey Haim side smiled. "Well, what's goin' on here?"
I smiled. Everything just vanished when he was around. "Nothing."
"I don't know, looks like you're up to somethin', with the look you're giving me and how hot you look, I'd say you're up to no good."
"You think we should throw these babes into the water? Tech 'em a lesson about scheming?" Feldman smiled, mostly at Harmony.
"Sounds good, my man."
We backed away. "Corey, no. Don't you dare! No!" Harmony shouted as Feldman ran towards her. She ran away from him, leaving me and Haim behind.
"Well, looks like there's no one to hide behind. Ready to go for a swim? Ha ha!" He tried to grab me, but I dodged.
"Not today, sucker!"
The look in his eyes told me he had something up his sleeve. He ran to me and tried to grab me again, but I slipped out of his grasp.
"I keep slipping out of your grasp!" I did a little dance, the wind blowing my hair. I spun around and realized Corey had come closer while I was dancing. He had something in his hand. "Corey.... What is that?" It looked like food....
"Oh, do you wanna cupcake, Cupcake?" He smiled. "It's vanilla with strawberry frosting."
Agh, I love vanilla cupcakes! "Toss it here." I opened my hand.
His smile grew wider. "You're gonna have to come and get it."
"Come on! That's not fair!" I stomped the ground, still smiling.
"Tell ya what. " He took some frosting off the cupcake with his finger then licked it off. "You come over here, we share this cupcake, then when we're done, I throw you in the ocean."
Hmm.... I really want that cupcake.... "Yeah, sure." I went over to him and sat down. I looked up and patted some sand next to me. He sat down, wrapped an arm around my waist, and pulled me to him. "Hey! After the cupcake! That's what you said! Corey!" I smiled and kicked the sand, trying to get away.
"Hey, hey." He whispered in my ear. I calmed down and looked at him. He smiled. "We'll eat the cupcake first, I promise." He split the cupcake as best as he could, but one half was bigger than the other, so he gave me the bigger piece. When we finished eating the cupcake, Corey gave me a stupid smile. "Now, it's time for the second part of the deal."
"Yeah, about that part of the deal, I- agh!" Before I finished my thought, Corey scooped me up and ran to the spot in the water where Harmony and Feldman were. "You little crap!" I playfully slapped his chest. "Put me down!"
He looked down at me, smiling like a goofball. "You sure?"
Realizing what he was implying, I gasped. "Corey Haim, don't you dare!"
"Do it, Haimster!" Feldman came up beside us, urging Corey to drop me in the waist deep water.
"Yeah! Do it! Do it!" Harmony came up, pumping her fists.
"You too?!" I shouted to Harmony.
She shrugged.
"Corey Haim, don't you-"
He let his grip slip. The water wasn't too cold, but it wasn't sticky hot. It was perfect. I got back up. I flipped my hair back and wiped the water from my eyes. When I opened them, I saw a certain someone staring at me. I smiled, wringing out my hair. "Are you having fun, there?"
I guess my question snapped Corey out of his trance, because he shook his head. "Sorry, sorry. It's just...."
"What?"
He smiled. "You're so... beautiful."
