Today was the big basketball match for which I was super excited about. Our school was in competition with another school and everyone was so psyched.
The school St. Francis was a devil when it came to sports, but somehow our school's basketball team always kept them under control.
Best about today's game was that Tushar and Kabir both were in the team and all of the girls were there to support them including Vedika, Aaleema and Shreya and I.
When we entered the court it was filled with spectators from each school, dressed in school team's t-shirt, they were waving flags and hooting. Since, St. Francis was all boys' school not much girls were seen on their side, except the player's girlfriends. But sure as heck our girls were grabbing a lot of their attention, boys of the opponent team's boys were cheering for girls than cheering for their team.
Our side was filled with the students from all classes and sections; all were shouting and hooting; it was amazing. We took our seats which was at the third row and hooted with our school mates. You know one of those days when you shout so much you lose your voice, today was that day and I had my mom waiting for me with ginger water at home.
Each one of us was wearing school's t-shirt and shorts, except Shreya who was wearing jeans.
Shreya as soon as she saw the team went down to talk to them, each of them were her friends in just a minute she was laughing and hi-fiving them. The great exhibit of gender exploitation were seen in our basketball team, Shreya was the best player there was but still she didn't get to be the part of the school tea just because she was a 'girl' which she was furious about for days but then slowly she came into terms and did the best thing ever...she trained the guys!
Vedika the modest bitch just waved at Kabir and sat down blushing when he sent her a flying kiss. Aaleema made it clear that she was there for the boys from the other school because the competition aside Francis was filled with hotties, I agree.
I looked around for any trace of Dhruv but found Tushar instead talking to a group of girls from our school. If I forgot to mention, Tushar was a lady's man and all were victim of his charm (including me). He had more girl plus friends than bros.
The group he was talking to were familiar they were all Tushar's old friends: Riya, Iksha and Khadija.
Riya Singh was smart and beautiful and the owner of world's most captivating brown eyes. Iksha was a total good girl with good grades and once was my competition when we were in the same grade. Khadija was Aaleema's competition because she left all the guys weak on their knees by her good looks and gray eyes, Grey eyes!
All of three were total gossip queens and knew everything about everyone in the school. My friends called them the bitches from the other side cause just like ours they were also an unbreakable strong group. They were popular and wanted.
Tushar was friends with them because a really threatening reason, Devika.
The thing was, Devika was also a part of this group and because of her relationship with Tushar the girls made good friends with him; the flooding pictures on Instagram will tell you that, after their breakup the friends were suppose to hate the ex-boyfriend because duh, 'ex-boyfriends are off limits to best friends it's like rules of feminism' but no no these girls were talking to me I wanted them to stop and I tried sending my Special Girls Telepathic Signals but they didn't get it and continued talking.
I looked at them keenly, there was nothing threatening about them, they were sweet and complete opposite of the bitch Devika but the problem was that why were they talking to Tushar if everything between Devika and he is over, are trying to rekindle the romance?
