Eight years ago-

"Kimaya" my mother called for me from the dining hall downstairs.

"Coming" I shouted back and tucked my diary under the mattress, where no one will find though it was a very cliché spot for secret things but no one ever really finds it there.

I descended from the stairs in the speed of a cheetah, I was super excited.

"Good morning mum" I greeted my mother who was getting our family's breakfast ready with a help of Manu, our house maid, my mother was dressed in formal business suit which was black in color.

"Sit down for breakfast or else you will get late for school" she said looking towards me "and are you ready for school"

"Yes mom" I replied

"Hmm" was her only reply

"Good morning sweetheart" my dad said from behind me, he took out a chair and sat pulling out a newspaper and started reading it.

"Good morning dad" I replied

"So are ready for school" my dad asked not looking up from the newspaper.

"Uhh... yes and mom already asked that question"

"Hmm" he said

And that's it for our family conversation.

I started on my breakfast eating it as fast as I could because I rather blast my ear drums with thousand decibel of noise than sit in this silence where there is palpable tension in the room.

"I am done."I declared and rose from my chair and rushed towards the door. I waited to hear any reply from my parents, if they make an exception of wishing me luck or something like ordinary parents, but none came.

Waiting for school bus was one of the most boring things in the world especially when your panties are more knotted than some dreadlocks. Gosh I am excited I wondered if he will be there or not.

No one will miss first day of school. Any normal person wouldn't.

But he is not normal he should go to an asylum that place is made for him.

As I was imagining my charming crush in an asylum tied in ropes. The bus arrived; let's leave that part of an imagination for staring at the ceiling nights.

I sat on my favorite third row's window seat and bus started moving.

Finally, like finally, I reached school.

In a life of a student there can be many torturous moments; forgetting completed homework in school or not completing it at all or not learning for a very important test or knowing the fact that your crush will never like you back.

But a student can never forget school life; these are the best yet worst days of our lives.

And as I entered the gates of St.Joseph Cathedral Senior Secondary School, my school I promised myself, this year I will make a difference I will be no longer that boring nerd I was for last six years.

Keeping my best foot first (right foot), I entered my school and started looking for my best friends aka them bitches aka the jokers.

Sometimes I think my friends are the only happening thing in my life cause they are just themselves.

"Kim" someone called from behind I turned to look Shreya my best friend number one coming towards me. She was looking taller and she changed her hairstyle; she got bangs that suited her.
