"What?" Raven and I ask simultaneously.

"There was a rouge attack that night and your father sent out help but I didn't get there in time. When we got there Redwood was already done for but we still came to help. I saw what I thought was a rouge and went for the leg and ended up ripping it off. When the doctors came running out of the hospital to get her I realized why I had done. By that time your mom had perished and only your father and beta were left of your warriors. Your father had seen what I had done and went to kill me but I defended myself and killed him." Dad looks up at us. "The blood shed caused by me was too much."

Raven sits absolutely still, not moving at all. Her hand clenched around my own and before I know it she has leaped over the table at my father.

Her hands are wrapped around his throat and his face is turning red as strangled noises come from his mouth.

Mom springs into action and tries to pry her off of him.

I run towards them and grab her around the middle. I pull her as her brother and mine pull dad and Raven away from each other.

"Raven let go!" I yell and her hands release but her claws cut the sides of his neck.

"Who was the wolf that you hurt?" I yell at my father.

"Your holding her." He says his face as neutral as possible.

Red flooods my vision and I let go of Raven and punch my father causing him to go unconscious.

I take Ravens hand and take her from the dining room, I lead her upstairs to ky room and we sit on my bed in silence.

I feel her arms wrap around me and I wrap my arms around her. Her body racks with sobs so I rub circles on her back.

Her sobs slow and I rest my head on hers and kiss the top of her head.

She pulls away and wipes away the tears with the side of the hand.

"I need to tell you something. Promise you won't run down and kill your dad." She says her intent blue eyes piercing into my soul.

"Okay, I promise." I say.

She nods and pulls up her dress so I can see her white underwear.

Points to a line on the leg. "This is where I end and metal and plastic stop." I lost my leg in the war to a man I didn't know of till today. I didn't want you to fond out because I was scared you wouldn't want me." She says. In her explanation her head goes down in shame.

"Raven," I start bringing her face to look at mine. "Would never leave you, ever. The only thing that parts us will be death and even then the goddess negotiates." I say a small smile lifting the corner of my mouth.

She dives into my arms in a hug and I hold her. We just sit there me holding her.

------------------------------------------------------

I walk into my art room to find Raven. She lays on the couch I have tucked in the corner. Her hair frames her face and I smile. Her legs are propped up on the arm and the rest of her body snoozes on the other part.

I can't help but stare at her prosthetic leg. It's a metal contraption that looks like crap honestly. It's just so ugly. I walk over to my paints and pick them up. I set up a stool and tray beside her.

I dip my brush in some paint and start to paint. My brush swirls and brushes all over her metal leg. My face scrunches slightly in concentration. When I'm half way done I lean back to take it in and know I'm painting the right thing.

Around her thigh I paint ice the texture seeming almost shard like. The ice starts to transition into flowers. Lilacs, daisies, roses, petunias, daffodils, every flower I know of is over the ice growing from her foot.

It captures the beauty over the ice. Beauty and power. I details the flowers and shade them so o alomost looks as if the flowers are reall and have just been wrapped around her leg.

I turn to look at Raven to find her watching me.

"How long have you been awake?" I ask.

"Long enough." She says a ghost of a smile on her lips. "I didn't know you paint."

"Yeah. I love to paint and draw it really speaks to me." I say looking around my decorated room the walls are painted and so is the ceiling. Paper hangs from the wall and ceiling.

"They're all so beautiful." She says gentally getting up to walk around the room. I follow her as she goes. She stops at the piece I did of a baby in the womb.

She looks back a strange expression on the face.

"I get dreams about pictures. They show after the picture I draw. I always used to get them. This is the only way I could move on and not see it in my head."

She continues to walk looking at all the art I've made. "What did you see after the fetus one?" She asks.

"I saw you." I say. "I think it symbolizes my future."

Suddenly someone burst onto the room. My beta, Jon stands in the door way panting.

His chest heaves and his pale skin is flushed. He looks at me is brown eyes full of worry.

"Alpha, bad news. Chase has been stolen."
