I arrived at a night club called Toxic around 11 PM. As soon as I walked inside I saw my younger brother Colin.

"Hey Colin! I'm glad to see that you showed up."

"I didn't necessarily have a choice," he whispered.

"I heard that shit Colin. Quit being a baby. We...well you have some important business to attend to in about an hour."

"Look Ev, I really don't want to do..," he started.

"SHUT UP," I roared.

He flinched at the sound of my voice. I sighed.

"Look Colin, you have to do this. This is what mom and dad wanted us to do, and I refuse to back down from this priority."

Colin sighed.

"I know Ev, but you know I don't like killing people. Mom and dad knew that, yet they still decided to ask this of me."

"We're doing the human society justice by getting rid of their murdering scum. What's wrong with that?"

"They're humans too Evelyn," he yelled.

"For the love of god Colin, humans are weak! They can't even defend themselves from each other!"

"But...," he began.

"But nothing Colin, suck it up. We don't have time to argue over your conscious."

"Fine, but this conversation isn't over Evelyn."

"The fuck, this conversation is over. There is nothing to talk about, so don't bring it up," I hissed.

"Whatever," he hissed bitterly.

"Great, now let's party," I screamed.

I rushed to the bar to order myself a drink.

"What can I get for you," asked the bartender.

"Hit me with that vodka my good man!"

"Coming right up."

He handed me my shots. I quickly downed the alcohol and headed to the dance floor to have a good time. Can I just say time flies when you're having a great time.

50 Minutes Later

I was dancing with a random guy when my eyes locked onto the clock on the wall. I pushed the guy away from me went to search for my brother.

I closed my eyes and focused on his scent. I walked to the back of the club and walked outside. There stood my brother pacing nervously.

"Colin," I called.

He ignored me and kept pacing.

"COLIN," I shouted.

He stopped pacing and turned to look at me.

"Sorry, I'm just nervous."

I pressed my fingers to my temples and rubbed them furiously out of anger.

"Seriously Colin, you're acting like you haven't done this before. You can't screw this up. Just take deep breathes and clear your mind.

He nodded and sighed.

I looked at the time on my watch.

"It's time Colin."

He nodded and sped away to search for his victim.
