The room had soon filled with whispers.
"Silence everyone. Brother Lucius has a few words," said Chandler.
Lucius slowly walked toward the podium. Once he stood before us, he made sure to look every single one of us in the eye. He then began to speak.
"Each of you will be given a list of names and locations. Once you have received your list, you are free to leave and start your assignments. Do not return unless the list has been completed. If you do not succeed, you will face punishment for letting your victim get away. That is all for now, until next time my brothers and sisters."
Sheets of paper rose from the tables and gently floated toward each individual. A long list of names landed on my lap.

I quickly became enraged over the numerous amount of names on this list.
"Hold the fuck up," I yelled.
"Is there a problem Miss Reed," asked Chandler.
"Hell yeah there's a problem. Why is our list so fucking long," I questioned pointing to my brother and I.
"The more the better," he stated.
"Umm...hell no! We have the longest list out of everyone up in this bitch! This is complete bullshit! We've never had a list this long!"
"Miss Reed, you and your brother are the most efficient vampires we have. We thought we should reward you with a longer list."
"Your thought was wrong," I hissed. "This is extra work for the both of us!"
"I promise that you'll receive a reward for completing the list."
"What's the fucking reward," I ask.
"Eternal life Miss Reed, eternal life."
"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME! I HAVE THAT ALREADY!"
"Exactly, now be gone. This meeting has been adjourned."
I grabbed Colin and stormed out of the Cathedral. The fresh, cool wind slashed across my face.
"Can you believe him? My fucking reward is eternal life! That's some bullshit," I screamed.
"Calm down Ev," said Colin.
"What the fuck? You didn't even speak up to try and help me."
"Yeah because they're scary Ev. I don't have the guts to talk to them the way you do!"
"Whatever. Let's head back to the hotel and pack our stuff. We're leaving tonight."
We quickly made our way back to our hotel room and began to pack.
