Lizzie's POV

'Y'know, It's not that bad.' Simon said beside me.

'Well it isn't for you. Your leg doesn't hurt, and you can walk. I don't even have my crutches to help me.' I stated blankly. He shrugged.

'I don't know what to say about that. Honestly, I would quite enjoy if I wasn't allowed to walk. It would give me the opportunity to take in my surroundings and enjoy them. It wouldn't be a blur, because I wouldn't be busy.' What He said made sense, but not that much. It was more a jumble of words made to form a sentence, whether it made sense or not, He said it.

'What?' I asked, clearly confused. He smiled slightly and sighed.

'What I'm trying to say is, I like nature.' He smiled. I giggled quietly and He looked at me confused. 'What?' He asked, laughing slightly, and I just laughed harder.

'I don't even know!' I laughed. He crinkled his eyes and made a silly face. 'Mmm! Dats smexy! ' I joked.

'I am quite attractive!' He shot back.

'Haha! Yes you are!' I laughed. He shot me a joking flirty smirk, and I just smirked back.

'You look just like someone I know from school!' I suddenly remembered.

'What?' He laughed. 'That was random!'

'Seriously though! You look just like him! Except He has darker hair, and his eyes aren't as gorgeous as yours, but He looks a lot like you!' I explained. He just laughed at me.

Dear diary,

I actually found you! I forgot you were in my jacket pocket when we crashed! I finally have some alone time so I can write. We've been stranded on this island for a long time. I can't even remember how long It's been. I've been helping as much as I can, but Ralph won't let me work hard because of my stupid broken leg. It's getting a whole lot better, but He still won't let me walk around on it. Simon is coming so I gotta go!

~Lizzie

'Hey, what'dya doing?' He asked, sitting next to me and handing me a coconut.

'Oh nothing...' I replied, taking a sip of the cool water.

'What's that?' He asked me, pointing to my diary.

'Nothing.' I said quickly. I hid the book under my leg so He couldn't see it. He shrugged and took a sip from my water.'Hey!' I teased. He smiled and stuck his tongue out at me. I sighed and smiled sadly.

'Hey, what's wrong?' He asked worriedly. I shrugged.

'Nothing.' I sighed.

'Doesn't sound like nothing. Seriously though, what's the matter?' He went on.

'You really aren't going to let this go, are you?' I groaned. 'It's just, what if we don't get rescued? What will we do? We'll all grow out of our clothes and I cant walk around naked, and I don't want to look at naked boys! And then there's Roger, who almost tried to rape me and I really don't know if I can survive being around him and what if-'

'Okay, okay! Stop and take a breath! Your starting to scare me.' He chuckled. I took a deep breath and relaxed. 'Okay, now back to what you were saying. We will be rescued, don't worry about growing out of your clothes! And as long as Jack, Ralph and I are here, you wont be harmed by that bastard.' He reassured. I laughed at how he finally cussed.

'Have you ever seen Frozen?' I asked out of the blue. (A\N remember this is my story so I will bring up some new things.) He looked at me funny and laughed slightly.

'Actually I have!' He exclaimed. 'I've seen it like, a thousand times! I know I sound kinda feminine but its a really great movie!' He stated.

'Do you know all the words to the songs?' I asked him. He nodded eagerly. 'I do too!' I piped.

'Really now? Do you know.... Let it Go?' He asked. I nodded. 'Sing it then.' He demanded.

'I can't sing.' I blurted quickly.

'Okayy...' He mused.

Simon's POV

'Okayy...' I mused.

'You don't have to protect me, I'm not afraid! Please don't shut me out again, please don't slam the door, you don't have to keep your distance anymore. Cause for the first time in forever, I finally understand. For the first time in forever, we can fix this hand in hand. We can head down this mountain together, you don't have to live in fear, cause for the first time in forever, I will be right here.'

'Anna, please go back home, your life awaits. Go enjoy the sun and open up the gates.'

'Yeah, but'

'I know, you mean well, but leave me be, yes I'm alone but I'm alone and free. Just stay away and you'll be safe from me!' Lizzie sang. She was in a tree in the middle of the jungle. She must have thought that nobody could hear her, but Ralph, Piggy and I were all standing there listening to her. How she got in that tree, I have no clue, but she did somehow.

'You have a lovely voice!' Ralph called to her. She stopped singing immediately and blushed furiously.

'Cant sing my ass!' I exclaimed. She somehow blushed even harder and hid her face. I chuckled loudly and Ralph shushed me.

'Don't embarrass her, she's already embarrassed enough, don't make it worse!' He chortled. I nodded gleefully.

'How'd you get up there?' Piggy questioned.

'Jack helped me!' She answered.

'Annnd down you go! Stay there, I'll help you.' Ralph demanded. She shook her head.

'No, I'm staying up here! Jack may have gotten my leg broke, but his judgement isn't that bad! I'm perfectly fine!' She bleated.

'Your going to get yourself killed! I'm getting you down there right now!' Ralph argued.

'Ugh! Fine.' She grumbled. He swiftly climbed the tree and grabbed her waist before climbing back down.

'Simon, take her back to the beach and make sure she doesn't go anywhere. I will be back to watch her in an hour.' Ralph ordered. Lizzie mumbled something under her breath, but Ralph didn't hear her. He walked away, Piggy trailing behind. I picked up Lizzie bridal style and started back to the beach.

'Jeez, thinks he owns me! Why don't you help me back in that tree and tell him that I am bathing. That way he wont know that I'm gone!' She inquired. I could do that, or I could listen to the chief and bring her to the beach. I pondered. It is what she wants, and she's right in saying that he acts like he owns her. He should know that she can make her own decisions, but he is just trying to protect her. He did tell me a couple times that he 'liked' her, so I don't see why he wouldn't care about her.

'No, I cant disobey Ralph. I promised I'd bring you back safely, and I am going to keep my promise, whether you like it or not.' I vowed. I felt bad doing this to her, but I cant let Ralph down. She groaned and rolled her eyes. I carried her the rest of the way back to the beach and set her down gently on the warm sand.

'I'll be right back.' I told her. She just nodded. I padded into the forest to the pond. I was going to get her some water so she wouldn't get dehydrated.

I walked back to the beach quite quickly, just in case Ralph or Piggy showed up. I came to the shore and looked over to see that Lizzie wasn't there, and Jack was missing from the group of boys as well.
