Dean

The rumble of the car under Deans feet gave him comfort as he drove down the street his brother told him. 221B 221B... he thought as he tried to find the door with said number on it. It was the very moment when he passed the third house on the block, when he heard the low hum and vibrations of what he could only assume to be a party. Was it Sams? It couldn't be. That kid doesn't know that many people....

All of Deans suspicions were answered as he seen the house that was throwing the party. As he approached closer and closer, he could see the numbers 221B printed on the side of the houses mailbox. Well shit.... He does know people. Dean smiled in disbelief, shaking his head as he pulled into a very conveniently placed parking spot right in front of the house. He did get to the party a few hours later than he would have liked, but in his defense he got preoccupied grading papers.

As he moved to the front door he took a look at his brothers house. He'd never gotten to see it before (and he has no idea why Sam thought a high school party would be a good first impression) but Dean could tell underneath all of the lights and drunk teenagers, it was a very well kept place. Dean gave an approving nod of his head before opening the door and stepping inside.

Almost instantly, the atmosphere changed. There was so many high school (some even looking like college) kids in the main room it was like a massive sea. This is insane... how did Sammy manage to invite all of these people?

As he tried to make his way through the sea of dancing teenagers (and by make his way he mean completely pushing past people) he felt a hand on his shoulder.... a very familiar feeling. He turned around and felt a huge grin spread across his face as soon as he recognized his brothers shaggy brown hair.

"Sammy!" Dean greeted happily. Sam pulled the two into the kitchen where, thankfully there was only one other kid grabbing a beer from a cooler on the floor. Sam grinned broadly and pulled his older brother in for a hug. Dean was so happy to see his brother again. It must have been years since the last time he saw him.

"Dean," Sam breathed a laugh into his shoulder. "It's been awhile." He pulled away and the two stood awkwardly, neither of them knowing what to say. It had been years since they saw each other. Where to start?

After a few moments of this Sam takes a heavy breath and turns around the to cooler behind them. "Beer?" He asks, opening the lid and pulling two out. Dean nods with a smile and reaches out to grab it as Sam hands it to him. "So... how are you man?" Dean nods, opening the beer on the side of the table like his dad taught him years ago.

"I'm okay. You?" Sam nods, repeating Deans method before they both take a drink.

"This wasn't a very good idea. Inviting me I mean." Sam furrows his eyebrows questioningly. "We haven't seen each other in years, we hardly call or text and suddenly out of the blue you decide to invite me over for a party? We could have met up for lunch or something." Sam laughs, taking another drink of his beer.

"Yeah, maybe this wasn't the best idea..." They both slip off into another beat of silence. Dean takes a drink of his beer when... Cas?

Dean quickly turns his head to the small bar overlooking the dance floor. The curtains were currently pulled back letting the two of them see everything going on on the dance floor. No... I could have sworn.... He squints his eyes slightly against the bright colorful lights trying to strain his vision to look for any signs of the head of fluffy black hair, he could have sworn he saw a minute ago.

"Dean?" Sam questions, sounding slightly curious and slightly worried. Dean blinks and after one last look across the crowd he draws his vision back to his brother who was looking at him expectantly.

"What?" Sam laughs and begins to repeat himself.

"I said..." he starts again, but Dean takes another glance over the bar and sees Cas' retreating back going off into the backyard. Dean takes a step towards the door,

"I'm sorry, Sammy. Hold that thought for one minute. I'll be right back." He quickly scurries out of the room, leaving a slightly dumbfounded Sam behind and across the ocean of teenagers.

The door leading to the backyard was a simple sliding glass door that was open completely, creating a nice flow of fresh air into the hot house. Once Dean stepped out, he took a breath of the fresh air that he didn't even realize he needed and looked around once again for the black haired boy. It wasn't long until he seen him, wandering alone around Sams backyard. Dean furrowed his eyebrows, wondering what he was even doing.

"Cas?" He called. Cas didn't stop though. He acted like he didn't even hear him. Dean sped up his walk and was only a few feet behind him when he called again. "Cas?" This finally got he boys attention. He turned his head to see who was calling his name and grinned when he saw his teacher.

"Winchester! Hey!" He greeted, obviously intoxicated. Deans face fell. Why was Cas even here? And drinking?

"What the hell, Cas?!" He raised his voice, taking a step closer. Cas swayed slightly in beat with the music playing inside.

"What?" He asked obliviously, raising his arms like his had no idea what Dean was even talking about.

"You know what I'm talking about, Cas. Why are you here?" Cas took a step closer to Dean, getting in his personal bubble and looking up at him with a smirk.

"Well, I guess I'm here for you. Wanna go dance?" Cas bit his lip and tried to grab Deans hand but Dean stepped away first.

"No. I'm taking you home." Dean grabbed Cas' arm and led him to the parking lot that was just around the house (duh) Cas' mood instantly dropped, making him stop in his tracks. Dean turned around to see Cas on the verge of tears.

"No please! Don't take me back there!" He pleaded. Dean could feel his heart break in his own chest. Remembering everything Cas told him, couldn't take the kid home now. But where would he go?

"Do you have friends you could go to?" He thought off the top of his head. Cas sniffled and shook his head. Dean sighed and pulled him along.

I could... take him to my place... he thought as they came up to the Impala that still sat in the front driveway, untouched. He quickly shook his head to rid that idea. No fucking way that's going to happen. He opened the passengers side, pushing Cas inside and walking around to his own. He figured he would just tell Sammy later that he had to leave last minute.

He started the car and looked over at Cas who was curled into a ball, shoved up against the door. His legs pressed against his chest with his arms over them and his head on his knees, staring sadly at the dashboard, lost in his own thoughts. Dean wanted nothing more than to help this poor kid... but he can't take him to his own house. He is a teacher and Castiel is his student. This wouldn't go down nicely if anyone were to find out.

But... they don't have to....
