Castiel
(Trigger warning!!! Do not read this if you get triggered by panic attacks)
It started with heart palpitations. One, two, three, his heart rate seeming to rise as each one came. Loosing his balance where he stood and almost falling but was able to catch himself on the wall. He began hyperventilating, questions surging through his brain on a nonstop loop, wondering, what is going on? Am I hallucinating? His chest feeling like it was on fire and unable to catch his breath.

"Mom," he tried calling but he was unable to speak. Am I dying? He thought. He was unable to stop the negative thoughts now and it was only fueling his attack.

He couldn't stop thinking about his mother, what was going to happen after she's gone? Is he gonna be able to visit her? Is she moving far away? How will father and Castiel survive without her? Chucks books aren't making any money whatsoever. Becky was the only one with a stable job being able to provide for the family. What are they going to do once she's gone?

Tears poured from the teens eyes as he slowly slid down the wall, making it even harder for him to breath but unable to stop.

Pain. Pain everywhere. His chest, his eyes, his lungs, everywhere.
It was like his entire world was crumbling down around him. Like the walls were falling down on him. Crushing him. Making it harder to breath. Until he stops breathing. And everything goes dark.

Castiel woke up, what must have not been very much later in his very own bed with his mothers face hovering above him. "Cas? Are you okay?" She asked, panic evident in her tone. Just from seeing his mother brought back tears to his eyes. How could you? He thought as tears began to flood his eyes making them glassy and very noticeable as he looked at his mom with a very hurt expression.

His mother noticed this immediately and tried to hold her hands out to bring him into a hug but Castiel refused, pushing her hands away and avoiding eye contact with her. This obviously had hurt her, Castiel noticed the way her face contorted into one of half confusion and half hurt.

"How could you?" He whimpered quietly after a few moments of silence.

"...Wha-"

"How could you leave us? How could you leave dad?" He started, his tone growing in volume after each word. "...how could you leave me..." He finally turned his gaze back to her at that final word. Tears finally flowing from his glassy eyes but his face just reflecting betrayal and sadness.

"Castiel..." She slowly tried to take her sons hand in her own but he ripped them from her grasp. She closed her eyes with a short sigh and started, "Your father and I... we haven't... been getting along the best together..." Castiel scoffed, looking away from her and wiping his eyes angrily.

"I guess you don't think I can hear you two screaming at each other every time you're in the same house?" He mumbled. They slipped into a tense silence. Becky didn't know what what to say and Cas was just letting his mind roam free to things he normally wouldn't let past his the short barriers in his mind.

"I'm keeping you home from school next week." Becky finally talked, cutting though the tension between them but not exactly making it disappear. She got up off of the floor where she was kneeling beside his bed and began walking towards the door. "I'll tell your teachers to drop your work off." She looked back at Cas one last time giving Cas a look of guilt, worry, and disappointment. This made Cas' heart twist up in his chest. He felt like crying again but all his tears had been used up and he physically couldn't. She closed the door quietly behind her as she left, leaving Cas with his thoughts.

His mind wandered from his mom for a short time, finally beginning to remember what had happened to him just a few hours prior. It's when he realized, I had a panic attack. He couldn't recall ever having one before. Seeing all of his mothers things packed up in boxes must have set it off.... That on top of everything else that has been going on. Using his teacher to forget about his parents. His teacher. Dean.

"I'll tell your teachers to drop your work off."

Oh fuck. Who is going to drop the work of?! Is mom going to get it or is someone coming here?! If Winchester shows up in my fucking home.... you can escape... a small voice in the back of his mind whispered. What the hell? No I can't... go home with... Winchester.

Cas was suddenly tossed out of his thoughts by his phone vibrating from his backpack that was somehow in his room now. He flopped out of bed and realized that his room was clean. Very odd seeing as he almost never cleans it unless someone tells him to. Him mom must have been cleaning while he was asleep...

Pushing his thoughts aside, he fished around in his backpack for his phone until he finally finds it among his books and papers. The phone buzzed rapidly in his hand as multiple different texts from Charlie came in each second. He sighed noticing he had missed a few chat rooms on Mystic Messenger too.

Why is Charlie-

It suddenly started ringing, cutting off his thoughts yet again. He sighed and pressed the accept button, not even being able to speak a word before Charlie starts speaking through the phone.

"Cas! Thank god you picked up!" Cas was surprised to hear her in her usual bubbly personality. After the whole thing in the supply closet, he figured she wouldn't be talking to him very much. But, it's Charlie. Why the hell would she stop talking to him. Especially after what he told her.... "I'm on my way to your house." She said between chews. Cas could only assume that she'd gotten a burger or some gummy bears somewhere. Cas tried to speak but it was like Charlie knew exactly what he was going to say. "You have no say in the matter I'm pulling into your driveway now." The next thing he knew Charlie hung up and he could hear her yellow bug pull into his driveway. (Okay I honestly have no idea what kind of car she drives I just know it's yellow...)

With a sigh, the boy wandered out of his room and down the stairs to meet his red headed friend and hopefully not talk about his parents (even though he knows that's exactly what's going to happen).
