Xihai

"I am so tempted to get her," Yama said. "I want her to since her cold boyfriend is not here," the other one said. Cold boyfriend? Who is her cold boyfriend?

"Cold boyfriend? " I asked glaring at the man. "You know, chief Kim, they sleep in the same room and it would be impossible if they haven't touch each other since lady Yhing is pretty beautiful . " the man replied.

"I thought you like her Xihai, when will we start our move? She can't beat us if we work together, " Yama said. "Tomorrow night."

Yhing

I was preparing myself to sleep when I heard a knock on the door then Lihua came.

"Hey," I greeted. "I heard Jinhai is not around, so I asked the crowned Prince if  I can sleep here while he's gone. " she said. I gave her a smile.

She take a seat beside me. "Does the Prince know your a woman?" I asked. "Yeah, since the other day," he said that made me choke myself.

"What? And he didn't punish you?" I asked. "No, he was actually....have..feeling to me." She laughed. Did I just hear that? The Prince liked her? Well I believe that cause she's beautiful and perfect but her life is in danger. Cause what if they'll find out and they are gonna punish her and worst..kill her.

"Are you worried about me?" She asked. Yes, one second thought, she is the most assuming person I know, just like Taian. When Jinhai asked  her on where she has been once, she told Jinhai 'Are you really that worried to me?'. She is assumes much.

"Your so assuming, you remind me about someone, " I admit. "I have this feelings to that your familiar. Cause this may sound crazy but I have a friend, when I was little, you and her have the same features and personality but they say she died, you guys even have the same name." Her face darkened.

"Maybe that was me," I joked trying to cheer her up.

"We used to play hide and seek together, she always makes me happy. One time I borrowed her katana and accidentally cutted myself and because of that, she cried all day long blaming herself." After what she said my eyes turned wide in shock. After all these days, I'm such a fool for not noticing. Every thought in my head disappeared.

"That...that..was me, that  was me and you are Taian," I said while starting to sob and my eyes went watery. I didn't dare to look at her, I covered m eyes and cried. The person I left behind is her. She  must be so angry right now.

"I'm so sorry for leaving you, I'm sorry Taian, after all you have done for me, I didn't even said 'goodbye' and made you believe I was dead." I cried. I was expecting her to storm out of the room but instead, I felt her arms wrapped around me.

"Its alright Yhing, I understand, " she said and started to cry while hugging me.

We cried in each other's arms. I thought I'll never see her again but all this time, she was the person who always makes this room noisy.

"Taian, its to dangerous for you here in the palace, what if someone will recognize you, you'll lose your life," I said. She's not safe in every corner in the palace. And what If the crowned Prince will find out that she's the rebel's daughter.

"What if the crowned Prince will know," I said. She looked at the ground and avoided my gaze "I know, he already know I'm Taian but he didn't know that I'm the rebel's daughter."

My heart suddenly just pound hard inside. I wasn't breathing properly. "But..but..he'll find out!" I said. Taian grabbed my hand.

"Taian, you need to leave this palace and stay at the grand house, that's the only way you'll be safe." I told her. She shook her head "I can't leave him, I'm not like you who can leave someone behind."

My whole world collapsed 😳😳😳 shes right. "Okay, its okay, Jinhai and I will watch your back here, but if something goes wrong, we will leave," I said trusting my self. I will protect her even if it leads me to death, just to repay all the favor she did for me.

She nodded. I hugged her again while crying even more. But I still can't delete the thought that the crowned prince and her are having relationships. But I can't stop love, I'm having difficulty in my  cutting love to Jinhai how much more if I cut Taian and the crowned Prince 's relationship.

When I woke up. I smell  food, when I got up, Taian was already preparing it on the table.

"You can cook?" I asked. She gave me her bright smile and nodded. I smile at her as well.

"Yhing, I was thinking that maybe we can wash our clothes today by the river, mine is getting many," she said. "Ah...y..yes, but can't we just wash them here not in the river." I suggested not wanting to remember our moments in the river while catching fish.

"Its difficult to wash them here, remember when we used to wash our laundry there when we were kids?" She asked trying to recall our happy moments together.

"Okay."

We eat breakfast silently. Then I decided to be the one to deliver the dishes to the washers. On my way, I encountered Zhang.

"Good morning, Yhing," he said moving towards me. He tried to grabbed the stuff I'm holding "Let me carry this for you," he added.

"Thank you," I thanked. "I heard Jinhai isn't around, can I be your company?" He asked. Why is he being so nice to me. "No its fine, I don't want to bother you," I said. Taian is around anyway.

"Refusing my offer bothers me a lot more," he said. What am I going to say then?!

I was silent on our way after that little chat. Afterwards,  He still acompany me on our way back.

"Where are you going next?" He asked. "I'm planing to wash my laundry at the river," I told him the truth. "Can I come? I want to help," he said. Oh no thank you, I would be too embarrassing to let a man wash my laundry, even for Jinhai.

"No, thank you, I'll just wash them on my own, I don't want to cause risk to the ambassador's son."

"Calling me that bothers me much."

I was saved when we arrived at my place. "Okay, maybe you need some alone time today but don't care to cook dinner tonight, I'll bring some food maybe we can eat together." He said.

"That would be great," I said. He's starting to walk away but stoped few feet away "see you tonight then," he smiled. "Okay, see you too," I smiled.
