Yhing
After a few minutes, I saw Zhang passed by, and when he noticed me, smile crossed on his handsome and charming face.
"Lady Yhing! Your back," He said happily while walking towards me. I gave him my sweet smile.
"Are you busy?" He asked. "No I'm not," I shook my head. "Would you like to come with me, I'm just gonna gave this brushes to the princess and after that let's go to the palace garden." He grinned.
"I would be glad to acompa-" I was cut of by Jinhai.
"What about her?" Jinhai interrupted. What about Taian.
"I'll be back later," I said. Zhang rested his arms on my shoulder as we walk. I may not mentioned it before but he is like a brother to me, I love him like that in my heart.
"It was been weeks since our last meet," he said. "Ah yes, its quite long," I said.
"So how was Beng Gang Zhu, General Cheng said that you visit their empire," he said. Oh so that was the excuses that Jinhai told them why I was gone.
"Uhm, as usual the lantern festival was still celebrated in Fengua bridge. The empire was still feisty as before." I lied making fake attendments. The only truth on it was the lantern festival celebrated on Fengua bridge, based on my experience in there.
"Thats weird, I just heard a terrible news that Fengua bridge collapsed due to heavy rains. Causing the people to celebrate the festival on Seip mountain." He said. Now he knows I'm lying.
"Really? Oh what a terrible news." I continue to lie. "I wonder where you really went," he mumbled.
We talked a lot on our way to the princess. After that we came to the palace garden.
I was so amazed when I saw the garden. Different kinds of flowers were in every corner. In the middle of the bridge is a pond with fishes. And lotus flower was all around it."Do you like it?" He asked. "No! I don't like it!" I strictly said, Zhang's smile disappear.
"I don't like it because I love it!" I cheerfully said and his smile was back but this time it's more happier than usual. When I noticed the sun was almost down I remembered my resposibilities to Taian.
"Zhang, I'm really sorry but I need to go," I said. "What but can't you just stay here for a bit longer," he said as his smile disappear.
"I'm sorry I need to go," I said as I grabbed my katana and hurriedly run. I run as fast as I can to get back but on my way I passed by lady servants chatting to each other again. And again, I heard the word 'Taian'.
"What about Taian?" I interrupted. "A guard saw her disguise herself as a kisaeng. So the guards are searching for her in the palace." She replied. After I heard what she said, everything in my mind disappear.
Nervousness take over my emotions as my heart was stumping hard inside. I continue to run, hoping to see her again at Jahyeondang.
I opened the door as I catched my breath. I saw Taian sitting on the corner and Jinhai looking something in a piece of paper.
"Whats wrong?" Taian asked as soon as she noticed me catching my breath.
"Someone noticed you and you are in a grave danger." I said gasping for air. When Jinhai heard what I said he put down the paper revealing the drawing of him that I draw during my sickness. My cheeks turned red in embarrassment.
"What are we going to do?" Taian asked. "Both of you can't leave in these case, I'm sure guards are all around the place searching, they may come her soon to check this place," Jinhai said.
"But when are we going to leave?" Taian asked. "When the guards will calm down from searching," Jinhai said. While they were talking I came up with an idea.
"Taian, take off your clothes and wear some of mine," I said handing her one of my kimonos.
"Why?" She asked. "Just take them off at the bathroom," I said.
She did what I told her. I grabbed her worn out girly kisaeng kimono and went inside the bathroom after her.
After wearing her fancy but sexy kimono. I came out. Both Jinhai and Taian's eyes were on me.
"You look beautiful Yhing," Taian said. I can't help not to smile. I grabbed those hair ornaments that Taian was using. I braided my hair while sticking those fancy flower hair pins in my hair. Making myself look like a kisaeng.
When I'm was done, Jinhai was still staring at me. "What are you staring at?" I asked trying to sound mad. He cleared his thoat and look somewhere else quickly.
"Taian quickly, go inside the bathroom." I said pushed her inside. I was a wooden bath tub that Jinhai and I never used before.
"Get on the ground," I said and she obeyed me. I covered her with the wooden bath tub.
"Keep quiet in there," I said, then I get out of the bathroom.
I noticed that Jinhai will stare at me then look away and stare again and look away again. But I didn't mind him, I focused on my plan.
Once the guard will be here they will surely thought I'm Taian but when they'll recognized me I'll tell them that there's no Taian in the palace disguised as a kisaeng but only Lady Yhing disguised as a kisaeng.
After a few minutes I heard a knock on the door. I quickly grabbed the fan and covered half of my face with it then sit beside Jinhai.
"Cheif Kim we will come in for searching Eun's daughter, Taian, please forgive us for bothering you," the guard said.
"You may come in," Jinhai coldly said. Five of the guard's entered the room. When they noticed me, they quickly aim their swords in my neck.
"What do you think your doing?" I said as I put down my fan making them noticed its me, Shen Yhing.
They quickly withdraw their katana and bow down. "Forgive us lady Yhing," they all said at once.
"Why did you all draw your swords in my neck," I firmly said.
"We heard that Taian is here at the palace disguised as a kisaeng, so we checked every room in the palace." A guard explained.
"I was dressing as a kisaeng since I got here at the palace this morning after buying this beautiful dress I bought from Beng Gang Zhu, if this dress makes me look like a rebel's daughter then I shall burn this, how such a waste of my money," I said.
"Please don't, we don't want you to burn this beautiful dress indeed because of a big misunderstanding, " the guard said.
"Thank you," I said. My plan did work. "Please forgive us," the guards said. "Its okay, if I'll see the rebel's daughter disguised as a palace guard I would probably do the same thing your doing," I said.
