A/N:

hai guys :) I'm sorry that I haven't updated in a while...—Okay, here's the thing. This is another filler in the transition to the main plot of the movie so you'll have to wait for the next chapter for the gang to meet. I'm so sorry if this is short but Ill try to make the following chapters hella long(-ish). I promise this story will be worth the long waits !! I still luv u all

(this is fluff and a bit of angstbut mostly fluff)

Uncle Sam stayed at the hospital to look after Jason. That means I'll have the whole house to myself for now.

Zack took me home after we had our little talk in the park. I obviously have a lot of things to think about...

"Will I see you tomorrow?" He asked as he walked me to the door.

"I don't know... maybe?—I have a lot on my plate right now." I scratch the nape of my neck, unsure of my words.

"It's okay, I understand. Just... call me or text me if you need to talk. I'm all ears."

I smile sweetly as I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, "Thanks."

"Alright, bye." He dug his hands in his pockets, turning around to head back home.

"Wait. Hold on..." I stop him all of a sudden. He turned to me with raised brows, "Promise me, though, you'll be there if  I get there."

"I haven't even left yet and already, you're asking about seeing me tomorrow." He smirked, "What, you miss me already?"

"Get a hold of yourself, Taylor." I chuckle.

He took a few steps towards me again, smiling smugly, "Oh, just admit it already."

"Admit what?"

He scoffed, "That you already hate seeing me go."

I roll my eyes, shaking my head disapprovingly.

This guy has such an obnoxious ego sometimes...

"C'mon. You've said it once. I just wanna hear you say it again."

I cross my arms on my chest, "Go home."

"Not until I hear you say it."

"Bye, Zack." I get in the house about to close the door shut but his strong hand stops it from enclosing...

"Fine. If you won't say it, I will." He sighed in defeat as if I were the one forcing him to say something he doesn't want to say, "I miss you already."

I felt like the right thing to do was brush him off... but since when did I abide my conscience?

I give out a small smile and kiss him on the lips, "I'll see you tomorrow."

Once I lay down on my bed, I let the sleepiness kick in but it seems like I really can't close my eyes.

Every single thing that has been going on for the past weeks have start rummgaging through my mind, making me question my actions whether they were good or bad. Was there something I did that drove Jason to do what he did?—no... he's been planning this senior prank for weeks already. He wasn't upset with me then.
