After meeting with his mom, Zack and I decided to eat lunch out. We went to the diner for a short while. The waitress was evidently pleased to see Zack and I enter hand-in-hand, and even more so when Zack told her we were officially dating. I couldn't stand two seconds without blushing during that... Anyways, after that, we lounged around at the mines again until it was four in the afternoon already.

It was time to see if the other people cared enough to show up.

I saw Jason at the edge of the cliff, staring down into the abyss but I guess he sensed that people were approaching. He slowly turned around to see me and Zack. He showed a small smile as Billy Cranston, Kimberly Hart and Trini came around one by one as well.

With no one saying a word, we all jumped down to the water and swam down to the ship. Knowing about what's going to happen already, we all braced ourselves to fall out of the water. Gracefully, we all landed on our feet.

Jason led the way into the ship and once Alpha 5 spotted us enter, he cheered ecstatically.

"You're back! You're back! I can't believe you're back!" The tiny robot ran around, "Come on, Zordon needs to know you're here."

We followed the robot into the centre of the ship again, this time Zordon was already there, awaiting us.

"We're back." Said Jason.

"I see that." Zordon replied with a slight smile in his voice. "So... shall we do this?"

We all looked at each other and gave the face on the wall a look of affirmation.

"You need to follow three rules to being a power ranger." Zordon started, "You must never use your powers for personal gain. You must never escalate a fight. Unless your enemy forces you to."

"—and you must never reveal your identity. Ever." Alpha 5 finished the statement.

"To assume your ranger identities, you need to morph." Zordon added, "Have any of you morphed before?"

I could feel Zack snicker beside me as he replied to Zordon's question, "Yes, but only in the shower."

I widened my eyes and nudged his side.

"What?" He laughed.

"Don't start." I give him another nudge, but this time it was on his arm.

He gives me a cocky smile and a wink as Zordon resumed his instruction, "Okay, okay, let's step into the footprints please. Let's try this."

We all assumed our places on the platforms circling the centre of the room, with our designated colors glowing beneath us.

"Standing in this circle as team, you can easily connect to the morphing grid." Zordon explained, "Do you feel it?"

"Yeah they do." Alpha commented.

"No, not feeling it." Zack said.

Zordon replies, "You need to morph to get your armor."

"I knew it! We do get armor! Jason, we get armor!" Billy cheered as he called my cousin's attention.

"Cool! When will you give us the armor?" Jason asked.
