A few days later, Sam and Dean still hadn't come back. Blankets fall across the floor as Robin tosses and turns in her sleep, dreaming about the awful things that could be happening to them. Tears stream down her face, leaving trails of ashy mascara behind. Castiel sees this and walks over to her. He softly shakes her, waking her. Startled, her eyes pop open and stare at him, her body jerking.

"Shh. It's quite alright, Robin. You were only dreaming," he tells her, rubbing her back.

She looks at him with unblinking eyes. She can feel her heart pumping in her chest, so hard that she's afraid Cas might hear it. Slowly, her breathing slows and she calms down, cuddling up to Castiel and grabbing at his coat.

"I was dreaming about-"

Cas cuts her off. "I know. But it was only in your head."

Another tear escapes her eye, and he wipes it with his finger. "I hope they're okay..." she says.

"I am sure they are. Would you like to go back to a resting state?"

Robin stares at him suspiciously. "No, I think I'd rather avoid those dreams."

"Alright," he responds. A piece of hair is twirled around his fingers, and he plays with it. His other arm is wrapped tightly around Robin, giving her a sense of comfort and protection. She holds it in her significantly smaller ones, not wanting him to let go.

Again, she falls asleep, but this time it is full of good dreams, most of which are about Castiel. He knows this and smiles, stroking her hair with his free hand and holding her tight with the other. She rests her head against his chest and lays to the side of him. A leg is thrown over his, making her only closer to him.

When she wakes up, she can see Cas's peaceful expression staring down at her. His lips are parted, and the corners pull up until he's grinning down at her.

"Did you sleep alright?" he asks her.

"Yeah. Amazing, actually. Thank you for being my pillow." She stares up into his eyes, not quite forming a smile of her own, but more of intently watching his every move. As his eyes connect with hers, she looks down bashfully, and instead stares at his plump, pink lips.

Castiel watches her as she does this, and is overpowered by the feeling of being drawn closer to her. Slowly, he leans to her until his lips are just inches from his. His soft lips brush over Robins, and he closes his eyes. Her lips are moistened by his. A sweet taste enters Castiel's mouth, like warm chocolate.

A jiggling sound comes from the door nob, and the door squeals open. Two figures stand in the doorway, silently staring at the sight before them. A moment passes before they walk in and speak.

"Are we interrupting something?" Deans voice calls out to them.

Startled, Cas pulls away and looks up at them. Robin remains looking down and blushes. Neither say a thing, leaving the air feeling awkward. Castiel finally says something.

"No," is all is spoken.

"Well, it certainly looks like it," Dean remarks. Sam nudges him with his elbow hard, and Dean looks at him. "Ow."

Robin stumbles to her feet. "How did the hunt go?" she asks.

"Well, Dean was caught by the ghoul, and it wasn't parting with him. It took a while, obviously, but I finally got him back." Dean glares at Sam, who raises his eyebrows back.

"Yeah. After he was caught too. He only escaped when it stopped and started killing me instead." Under his breath, he whispers, "Bitch."

Sam hears this and responds, "Jerk."

Robin laughs at them nervously, then says, "I'm going to take a shower. I'm so glad you guys are back."

"Thanks, Robin. Have a nice shower," Dean tells her.

She steps out of the room and into the bathroom. Sam, Dean, and Castiel start a heated conversation.
