"Why not?" the demon possessing Robin's mother asks.

Castiel glares at him. "Because I told you not to. They matter more to me than anyone has ever mattered to you."

"For fuck's sake. Stop being mushy, Castiel. We don't want to hear about your love life with that Winchester," says one of the demons in the mass, gesturing at Dean.

His cheeks start to brighten to a brilliant shade of red. "We aren't in love."

"Okay, stop. We're supposed to be fighting here, not discussing who's dating who. Cas, just exorcise them already," Sam says, annoyed.

"You're right," declares Castiel. He walks over towards the demons, and they start running at him.

Suddenly, they all collide with each other. Sam, deciding he should try to help, sets down Robin and starts fighting with Cas. Dean, having recovered, decides to help too. Armed with holy water and their own voices, Sam and Dean start trying to exorcise some of the demons. Unfortunately, they aren't able to do that much because they have no way to contain the demons.

"Exorcizamus te, omnis immundus spiritus, omnis satanica potestas, omnis incursio infernalis adversarii, omnis legio, omnis congregatio et secta diabolica. Ergo-" Sam gets cut off when the demon he's trying to exorcise punches him in the face. He can feel something warm trickle down his face. His nose is bleeding.

Meanwhile, Dean is fighting a different demon. It punches the side of his head, and he punches it right back. He throws it up against the wall continuously. He thinks that he's got the demon now. Of course, he thinks too soon and it retaliates and throws him to the ground. Struggling, Dean tries to get up but can't. The demon is sitting on him, throwing punches. The air gets knocked out of him. He is unable to keep fighting, and gives in to the pain. The bashing continues, and Dean's face is swollen. He can hardly breathe and is covered in blood.

Castiel sees this and runs over. "Get away from him," he says, placing his hand over the demon's face.

All facial features on the demon begin to glow. It gets more and more intense, until suddenly, it goes out. The demon lays lifeless on the floor. Actually, it is now the lifeless body of a middle-aged man. Grotesque features of a broken nose, a ripped ear, several bruises and a deep cut are visible on his face. It is also covered in blood. Sam looks over and feels sorry for the man, but from losing focus gets hit in the stomach and doubles over.

Castiel is merciless. Left and right, he is killing demons. Robin, standing by a table, watches in awe. She thinks that these men are amazing. She is so amazed, that she doesn't notice a demon sneaking up behind her. She continues to watch Sam, Dean, and Castiel fight the demons. Sam finally manages to exorcise a demon, and Dean, even though weak, still continues to fight.

She feels hands grasp at her sides. The demon possessing her mother is behind her, and is angry. It pulls at her hair and squeezes her sides. Fingers dig into her stomach and kidneys.

Castiel notices this and runs towards her. Robin screams out in pain, and Sam and Dean look at her. They see Cas going to help, so they return to fighting the other demons.

"You're going to pay for what they did to my love," the demon whispers into her ear, menacingly.

"No! Please don't do this," Robin starts crying.

"Get away from her! She isn't apart of your problems, so don't involve her in this," Castiel screams at it.

He charges. The demon throws Robin to the side and lunges at Cas. It is stronger than most demons, because on his first try, it does absolutely nothing. "Ha!" it laughs. "Not strong enough for me? That's what I thought. I'm more powerful than most, and I doubt that you can kill me!"

Castiel tries again, but when he places his hand on the demon's face, it takes this opportunity to attack. It pushes Castiel to the ground, and hovers over him. "I can't kill you, but you can still feel pain! And as long as I can do that, I will make you feel all the pain in the world!" the demon yells at him.

Robin is dumbfounded. Just the other day, she was a semi-normal girl, who was just misunderstood. Now, she is having more than twenty demons fight in her house with three men she just met that day, and she wasn't even sure if they were mortal, either. Her mother possessed, and she was in the middle of a full on battle in her dining room.

She looks back at the man she knows to be Castiel and realizes that the demon is biting him, ripping out chunks of flesh. Realizing how terrible it must hurt, she takes action. She picks up a chair and smashes it into the demon's head. Quickly, Cas gets up and on top of the demon, and puts his hand to it's face. Light shines from it, then goes out. Robin's mother's lifeless body lays on the floor. "Did I... did I kill her?" she says quietly.

"Shh.." she hears Sam's soothing voice behind her, and notices that they are no longer fighting.

Just beyond them, she sees Cas charge the last two demons and knock them to the floor. Again, their features light up and then go out.

Robin bursts into tears, and Sam wraps his arms around her and pulls her into a rug. "It's alright. You're going to be alright," he says.

"Th-thank you so much," she sobs.

"No problem," replies Dean. "It's our job."

Sam lets go of her and they start walking towards the door. "Wait! Please don't go," she yells after them.

Dean sighs. "We'll come back tomorrow to check on you. If anything happens, call this number." He grabs a random piece of paper and writes a phone number onto it.

"Thank you," she says, sounding thankful.

"Don't mention it," replies Castiel.

They start grabbing bodies and begin to carry them out the door. She can't help but admire their strong arms when she sees them pick up the bodies. When the last one is gone, Sam and Dean come over to her.

"Bye, Robin," they each say.

"Bye," she mournfully replies.

They walk out the door, leaving the house silent and dark.
