Grainger sat with his back straightened, piloting the escape pod while holding the wound given to him by Reagan. He looked down to his wrist. A floresten green light was flashing on the watch.
"Did you do it? Are they dead?" A voice stated.
"Yes, Sofia is dead. I made sure that she was before I left. I don't know about the others but at least now the unborn twins can't rival us." Grainger replied. This was no rodaniray watch, someone was on the other end, using the watch to disguise their secret conversations.
"Good, you learn fast. On to your next deed, deed number two." The voice taunted.
"What do you ask, my lord?" Grainger asked.
"For your second mission or deed, you must see it through that Sofia's body not be buried. We can't let Luka, Reagan, or anyone with your blood and powers near her body, otherwise, they will pick up on the dark energy that surrounds her and blame it on us." the voice continued.
"Well, no one knows your real identity, I believe that Reagan thinks I'm dead. I pretended to struggle when I got to the escape pod. They might as well believe I am lost in space." Grainger pointed out.
"Yes but they must never know that I am in existence. If they found out who I am, then we might as well kill ourselves because you know the galaxy would stop at nothing to catch us. Especially after all that I've done." The voice remarked.
"Let's hope that no one figures it out. If they did, then your mother might kill us both." Grainger mentioned.
"Uh huh. I don't have any more time to waste, I have deeds of my own don't you know. Just make sure that you take her body."
Grainger continued to ponder his decisions. He had betrayed everyone. His sister, his brother, his mother, his wife, and worst of all his children. All of the sudden, Grainger's hand shot up to his forehead. A pounding headache shot his since of control. He let go of the controls and cradled his head in his hands. High pitched screams filled the pod. He heard Reagan's voice calling to him, crying out for help. His mind flashed images of Reagan and Luka crouched over Sofia's dead body. The next image was of Reagan flying the ship while Luka tried to save Sofia. The thoughts haunted him as he watched his love die. The sounds intensified, it was almost as if he had developed super hearing. He could hear Sofia breathing. How was she still alive? Grainger had felt her soul leave her body. He continued to watch, though he had no choice. He watched the plane land on Albea Point and then them take Sofia on a stretcher. He then saw a white blanket covering her dead body. That's when the images stopped.
"Then she is truly dead." Grainger muttered to himself. Part of him prided himself on his first official steps into the darkness. The light part of him, all that he had left of his former self, cried inside. Wept at the destruction that evil Grainger had caused. He knew what he had to do. They had landed the ship on Albea Point, right out of the Albea Hospital. He plotted in his mind. He would land on the hospital hanger and pull his cloak over his face. Pretending to be someone else, he would go in and have the wound taken care of. This way he didn't look suspicious and he was taken care of. Then, he would proceed to sneak away and snatch Sofia's body. Grainger flew to Albea Point and very carefully executed his plan. The first step was to pretend to be someone he is not. A liar, something that Malice had taught him about. He exited the ship and pulled the cloak hood over his head, covering his eyes, and continued to the hospital. He walked through the doors still holding his side.
"Can I help you?" asked a medical droid.
"I have a wound to my side." Grainger replied.
"Who caused this wound?" the robot continued.
Grainger paused for a second, uncertain of how he should answer. A thought sprang to his head as if it had been placed there by someone else.
"Her name is Reagan Cross, she is the sister-in-law to my sister Sofia." Grainger replied, trying to hide his evil smirk.
"Oh that's terrible! Who are you?" the robot asked again.
Grainger began to sweat. Maybe he had not thought this through all the way.
"Me? I am...... Anton Loretta..." Grainger hesitated.
He was fairly confident that this scheme was believable but if someone had met Anton before, or found out that he was dead, his cover would be blown.
"Okay, Anton. Follow me and we will get you taken care of." The robot announced. She led Grainger to a small room in the corner with several other sick and injured people sitting in brightly colored chair, waiting for their names to be called.
Meanwhile, Reagan and Luka raced to the ship. Luka carried Arsen and Reagan carried Ben.
"Luka, stop. I can sense him." Reagan whispered, slowing to a walk.
"Who? Grainger?" Luka replied.
"Keep your voice down! Don't say his name out loud." Reagan scolded.
Luka nodded. This was either going to end with a gigantic battle between them or them getting away unharmed.
"We need to hurry! Get on the ship." Reagan instructed. Luka ran to the ship and pressed the button to open the doors. They shot open swiftly and Luka, Reagan, and the babies got onboard.
"Where too? Are we going to separate them?" Luka asked.
"Of course! If Grainger finds them both and turns them to the darkside, they will be unstoppable! You heard the medical droid, they are the most powerful in the galaxy!" Reagan corrected him.
"Grainger doesn't even know that they have been born! He thinks he killed Sofia and with her, Arsen and Ben." Luka pointed out.
"We can't count on that. He could be chasing us down as we speak. We need to get them as far away from each other as possible." Reagan scoffed.
"Where too?" Luka questioned.
"Where is the last place Grainger would look for Arsen?" Reagan answered.
"Maverick!" Luka and Reagan thought.
"What are we going to do with Ben if we take Arsen to Maverick?" Luka pondered.
"Hmmm.... What's the name of that planet that Grainger was supposed to rule over?" Reagan remarked.
"Wasn't it called Earth?" Luka reminded Reagan.
"Yes, Earth. That is perfect. We will drop him off at one of their structures."
"What are we going to tell them, Reagan? That we are from a different galaxy and the child we give them has superpowers?"
"Yes, Luka let's tell them that! No! We aren't going to tell them anything except to take care of Ben for us. We tell them that his name is Ben Cross and he is very important. It is important that some family from Earth takes him." Reagan contemplated.
"To Earth." Luka cheered. He handed the child off to Reagan and sat down in the pilot's seat. Reagan strapped herself into the seat and held onto the children tight as she ship blasted off to another galaxy. Luka was excited, he had never been outside of Ragnarok. He had heard rumors of Earth and that they are humans and don't have god like powers. Instead, the all believe in some all powerful person or force. They have many people that they worship and have inventions that they don't have in Ragnarok, like cars. Luka had never seen a car before, he had heard of what they look like but never saw one. He had also heard a detailed description of what they call flowers from a friend of his named Tyler Grievous. Tyler had grown up on Earth and moved to Ragnarok after finding out that he had family in this galaxy.
