I was panting as I arrived so fast at the place.
I never expected that the trees would be really high. All I could ever think of that night was to eat.
The night was so dark that I couldn't see moving objects. My night vision wasn't enough. Probably my sense of smell can help. It can help look for food. It traces the smell of blood of every creature moving in the deep woods. I smelled from my right. Then from my left. Then without any notice, a deer just passed, swiftly right where I was facing. I quickly leaped and jumped and reached out with my arms as far as I can get.
I grabbed the legs of the deer first. Then to its mane. And then to its slim, sturdy neck. Its neck was way too alive. So quick I could already feel its blood, rushing to every organ that its heart can take. Using my sharp finger nails, I slit its bare throat, and then the final moment awaits. I see bagful of blood gushing out. I took a small sip, then a fast, harsh one.

I knew I could be this thirsty. Thirsty for real blood. It feels such a relief. My stomach has  stopped from its aching.

I was bloody. Bloody hands. Bloody face. Bloody clothes. I could never stop sucking and biting that poor, innocent creature. But it was too late. I need to respond to my appetite.

To end my bountiful feast, cut its heart open. Holding the heart is like holding the prize. Its still beating. And the red blood looks like gold to my eyes.

Just as I was about to take it whole in my mouth, I was blinded. Like, literally blinded by some kind of light. A flash. And I looked up, and saw the thing. Its a flashlight. And holding it was a human. Shit. He got me. The person spoke, "Holy shit! That poor thing! She killed it!" then another spoke, "She's covered in blood!" They got me. I thought. Humans have caught me. Its too late. Now they are seeing a real vampire that they thought they never exist. ",she's eating it. Look!"

I stood up in front of their horrified looks and shaking bodies, and I was all dripping blood.

"I can explain," I said to them in a calming tone, but before I can give a lawful explanation, the boys ran fast away from me.

They were already afraid of me. Opening my mouth to talk would already let them see what was inside it- the blood and the chunk of heart of the animal.

I wish I would also run. But letting them run away gives them an opportunity to report me. Report me as a bloody, killing, teenage girl in the woods. They would hunt me down. Imprison me. Or execute me. Or burn me alive. And I would not let it happen.

I chased them. Swiftly. Like I was the one hunting them down.

Humans should never mess with the immortals. They are clever , smarter, and even stronger than mortals. And because of that I was able to jump to high trees. To run swiftly and quietly as ever. And to grab on two boys in the dark woods.

Bam! Goes the two boys hit the ground, as I dropped behind them, panting, but still recovered to stand up.

"Run!" shouted the boy. "Aarrghhh! She's gonna kill us!!" Then the other. I didn't think through what to do. So I let out my fingernails, slit one of the boys' throats, and watched him die in pain. Brutal right? Yep. Everything about it, the throat slitting and watching him die is a vampire thing. Like the cliché ones you see in movies, old and new. That thing never gets old. It's hella awesome.

But I knew that my vampire dignity and reputation will be exposed to schools. To towns. To the human world. Because one of the boys escaped. And I realized I slit the throat of only one of them. The other saw what I did, and then escaped. Just like that.

"Monster!! She's a monster!!" He screamed as he made his way out of the woods, looking for people to save him.

The boy, the one that I've slit on the throat, his dead body lay in front of me. On the ground covered entirely with blood.

It was a horror scene.
I've killed him.
The other escaped.

I have to hide.
