Her blonde hair rippled in the wind, her bright green eyes scanning the forest as she walked further from the warmth and safety of her home. She wasn't afraid of the forest. She wasn't afraid of her fate. A growl errupted from the shadows, the woman turned towards the sound, three wolves lept down from the trees, their hackles raised, ready for attack.
A man's taunting laughter filled the air, "She's actually here." The man's cruel dark eyes scanned the woman. "With no child."
"I refuse to give her to you," She said, "She doesn't deserve this life-"
"None of us deserve this life," He snapped, "But, if we don't have someone to join us, we all die." The wolves around her growled.
"Then take my life." She whispered, he looked up.
"You'll have to do." He snapped his fingers, immediately the three wolves launched at her,
"For you, Clara." She whispered as her final words, before she was pinned to the ground.
