I walk alone,
On this dusty road at night,
Sometimes i wonder,
Why my own shadow sticks by my side.
With no one around,
Just an everlasting silence,
I hear only my footsteps,
And so i walk without guidance.
As the wind blows,
On my broken and lonely soul,
My feet grow weary,
To the ground i fall as my thoughts unfold.
One by one,
Tale by tale,
I remember the stories,
And i hear the cries unveil.
I find myself running again,
Trying to escape the unkind,
But it is simply impossible,
To run away from your own mind.
So on this dusty, dirt road,
I walk alone,
Looking for a place,
That i can call home.
Where evil cannot find me,
And in the depths of my dispair,
All i have to do is go home,
Where i can strengthen and repair.
