Sky adjusts her dress and her sunhat, she smiles. Today she’s going to meet Jayden’s little sister, Tsubame. It was her turn to repay Rin, who so kindly offered her services, it was the least she could do. Sky needed to get out of the house to enjoy the last warm sun rays of summer.
Today she is going to walk to the park, it is actually quite close by. It was good for Sky, in case that she needs to go home. As she steps out the door, a refreshing gust of air hits her face, making her smile even more.
The walk is quiet and serene, a tiny figure is waving at Sky. Sky smiles and walks towards the figure,”Hi Tsubame,” says Sky.
“Hello,” says the little girl with a large smile.
One of her brothers is there to drop her off,”Thank you so much, I’ll pick her up at 3,if you need anything feel free to call Jayden or Mom,” he says.
Sky nods in conformation and the brother leaves, causing Tsubame to giggle. “He’s going back home to sleep, I bother him too much,” says Tsubame.
“What do you do to him?” asks Sky as the two begin to walk.
“I usually ask him to play with my stuffed animals, nothing to girly, but all my brothers get tired of it eventually,” says Tsubame sadly.
“I’ll play with you from now on then,” says Sky with a smile.
“Really?” asks Tsubame.
“Really,” says Sky.
Sky sees the PE class running around, today they were doing mile runs. Sky completely forgot that the PE class was the last class of the day today. The schedule often shifted so that students could have as many classes as possible.
“Look its Max,” says Tsubame about to wave.
Sky grabs her hand and hurries her into the opposite direction, before anyone can see her. “Sorry,” says Sky releasing Tsubame’s hand.
“Was that mean guy in there?” asks Tsubame.
“Yes, there was a not nice guy there, that I would not like to see ever again,” says Sky.
“I’ll defend you Sky,” says Tsubame with a determined smile.
“Thank you,” says Sky with a smile.
“And keep fighting him, because you’re a strong person. I can feel it,” says Tsubame.
“You’re a smart girl, don’t worry I may not look it, but I have courage some where,” says Sky.
“Everyone has it somewhere,” says Tsubame.
Sky pats Tsubame’s hair,”I think they’re gone, let’s go play on the playground a little more before your brother gets here.”
Tsubame nods and grabs Sky’s hand, the two smile and happily walk across the field to the playground. Tsubame sits on the swing and Sky pushes her happily. Jayden arrives with Max, “Come on Tsubame, we need to help Mother with dinner,” says Jayden.
“Kay,” says Tsubame hopping off the swing.
“Say thank you Tsubame,” says Jayden.
“Thank you Sky,” says Tsubame bringing in Sky for a hug.
“Anytime little one,” says Sky.
The two walk in separate directions,”Did you bring your car?” asks Sky.
“Sorry, we ended early today so I decided that I could walk home, but I decided to bring you home,” says Max.
“Thanks for accompanying me home,” says Sky.
“No problem,” says Max.
The two began to walk chatting about the day.“I-“ Sky stops as they near the house.
“What’s wrong?” asks Max.
“I really gotta pee,” says Sky.
The two make a mad dash for the house, Max quickly opens the door and Sky rushes to the bathroom.
Sky sighs in relief, and steps out of the bathroom,”Baby, you’re giving my bladder a hard time,” says Sky.
“You okay?” calls Max.
“Yeah,” responds Sky.
“The baby’s pushing up on your poor bladder,” says Max.
Sky walks back downstairs,”Yeah, definitely not going to miss it when this little one is born,” says Sky.
