This chapter is unedited!!!!Eva pulled her daughter into a tight hug. She had not seen her in a while and she had missed her. She could already see her protruding belly through the top she had on.
"How have you been, darling?" Eva said as she led her daughter into the house. It had been long.
Octavio felt his heart soften as he watched his daughter walk into the house. He had missed his baby girl and he realised she was all grown up now and he was about to become a grandfather. He would have never expected this to happen in a million years.
Octavio street he's out his arms only to have his daughter walk into them, with tears in her eyes. He could tell how much she missed them all. He wondered why Jose never brought her over.
"How are you?" Octavio asked looking down at his daughter.
"I'm fine daddy. Everything's fine. " She answered smiling as she wiped her tears. She had missed her parents so much. She just realised now.
"And the baby?" Octavio asked, he somehow souls not wait for the baby to arrive.
"The baby's fine. I just went for a check up some weeks ago. " She said as they walked into the house.
Jose watched how Adela interacted with her parents. She was so free with them. You could see the smile she had on was not forced or fake, it came straight from her heart and she looked beautiful. It was like the pregnancy made her more beautiful. The love that shone from her parents eyes for her was overwhelming.
Even if she had made a mistake falling pregnant, they didn't condemn her rather they loved her more. He had thought they would throw her out of the house or even shoot him dead but they did why would make their daughter happy. That was why he knew he would never become a good father.
Jose saw Alfonso walk to where they were. He was glaring at him but he hugged his sister tightly while Adela moved herself out of his arms. It was like she was still angry at him over what happened.
"What?" Alfonso asked his little sister when she pulled away from him. She never ever did that and that was what shocked him.
"Nothing. You're just not the brother I knew I had. You didn't even show up on my wedding day and now just because of what happened you totally ignore Jose, I thought he was your friend. " Adela said, her eyes were full of anger and hurt. Jose didn't know how to feel about what was going on inside of him.
Alfonso began to feel guilty. He never liked when his little sister was mad at him but if Jose was his friend he wouldn't have knocked up his sister. Jose had no excuse for what he did. It was a mistake. Yes he had accepted that fact but he didn't think he could ever forgive Jose.
"Adela. I'm sorry. " Alfonso said simply kissing her cheek. He knew he wanted to say more but it would only end up hurting her. He kissed his mom's cheek and told his dad that he would be out for some weeks. He had something very important to do. Or someone very important to deal with.
Adela watched her brother leave. She had forgiven him but she wanted Jose and her brother to be friends again but it seemed like it was not working out at all.
"I'm sure you don't have much time here. Let's go get ourselves busy. I have a lot of things I forgot to tell you as you're becoming a mother. " Eva said as she held her daughter's hand.
"Why don't you guys stay the weekend? I'm sure there's nothing really special waiting for you guys back at home?" Octavio said, looking from Adela to Jose.
No matter how much Adela wanted to stay, she knew Jose would not like the idea and before Jose could speak, she answered her father.
"Oh daddy, maybe another time. We didn't plan it at all. " Adela said looking at her at her pleadingly.
