"Dad. How do you expect me to forget her?" Michelangelo spat at his father. It had been months since he had any contact with Adela. She was the one to be his bride. She fit the role perfectly.
"Son, she is already wed to another. There is nothing we can do. Besides, you didn't ask for her hand and we were not offered a betrothal." Michelangelo senior tried to reason with his son. The woman in question already had a child with her husband.
"Dad. How can you turn against me? What made you change your mind?" Michelangelo stared at his father as if he had never seen him before.
"Son. She is married and she has a child. I will not be causing a blood bath between Octavio and I just because of some girl. " Michelangelo senior insisted.
"Besides, Victor's daughter is very much available. She is a beautiful. A fair beauty. " Michelangelo said, trying to sway his son's mind from Adela.
"Father I do not care about Carolina. She is beautiful but not for me. " Michelangelo said, he needed to think of a plan and fast.
"But Adela is the one for you. Someone that already belongs to another is the one for you. " Michelangelo senior paused. He looked at his son if he was alright.
"Very well son. I have said whatever I have to say. It would be best if you forget Adela. Don't try anything stupid or you will only have yourself to blame." Michelangelo nodded at his father before he walked out of the study. He would do everything possible in this world to get Adela where she rightfully belonged. Beside him.

Rosa sat in her cot waiting to be picked by her mommy. She could sit already. She was a big girl of six months old. She slobbered on her fists as she sat quietly.
Adela smiled as she got out of bed. Today was the day, Jose's parents were meeting up with them at a restaurant for dinner and she was ecstatic about it. She wondered what time Jose had got out of bed. Surely he would have kissed her bye.
Rosa let out a high pitched squeal as her mommy came into view. She raised her arms up, showing she wanted to be lifted. She was excited because they would not be the only ones there. Her parents were coming, so we're her very lost brothers and Draven and Anissa just might show. They were a really big family she thought as she placed Rosa on her hips.
She remembered how her parents laughed when she told them of how Rosa was named. The baby really bought joy, love, peace and happiness into the house like her mother said it would. She squeezed Rosa tight in her arms and just then Jose walked into the room. Shirtless. His chest and shoulders were all over the place. His sweatpants hung low and he glistened with sweat.
"Please refrain from suffocating her. " Jose said, looking at Adela strangely. She was one weird girl,he thought. He walked into the en suite slamming the door
Adela then remembered how Jose hadn't carried Rosa in a while. He hadn't even interacted with Rosa on a father and daughter level then she was getting worried. Adela knew she had to come up with a plan. She walked to the nursery to give Rosa her bath and feed her. With her mom and Martha's help, she was already getting a hang of things. Who knew at eighteen she would be a mother? A happy one at that.

The dinner was successful though she had to leave Rosa at home because it was too late for the little baby to be out. She was having fun. Even Anissa didn't bring Jayden and Jayden was like two.
"Adela how are you?" Anissa asked her, they sat right beside each other. She was not sure why but she seemed content just being here.
"I'm good. Rosa's good. " Adela smiled as she thought of her baby.
