All Chase did 1st period was annoy the livin hell outta me. And lucky for me, I had every class with him. Yay me! I tried to ignore him, but he just intensified the annoyingness when he saw I was.

"Why do ya hafta annoy me? Out of all the girls in this class, you pick me," I finally said in 4th period. He just looked at me for a minute.

"Well cause you're so funny when you're pissed, and plus you are my best friend Reesey. Whether you like it or not. You couldn't live without me," he said with a smug look. Just then, Stacy, Chase's girlfriend, walked in.

"Hey gorgeous," she said, leaning over Chase's desk and giving me a sideways look. Me and her have never gotten along. She's been jealous of me just cause Chase CHOOSES to hang out with me more than her. And Chase just tries to blow this off like she's not. Boys can be stupid at times.

"Hey," he said, looking over at me with apologetic eyes. She bent over and kissed him, making sure I saw them. I stood up to go.

"I'm just gonna go find Jason, Chase. I'll see ya in 5th," I said, glaring at Stacy.

"Well ya ain't gotta go Reece," he replied, looking at me, practically begging me not to. Stacy turned around and shot me a look. I returned that very same look to both Chase and Stacy. God I really hated that girl.

"I really think she does Chase," Stacy said, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Yeah, I really think I should. Bye Chase," I shot back, walking out of the classroom. My teacher really didn't care what we did.

I grabbed my phone outta my pocket and texted Jason's number.

Me: Wanna go get lunch?

It took him no time to reply.

Jason:  Definitely. I'll meet you at my car baby

Me: OK.

I started walking to the front door, when someone grabbed me by shoulder.

"I'm sorry bout Stacy, Reece. She was outta line. I really wanted you to stay, and her to leave. I'd rather have you around than her," Chase said, rubbing his neck with his head down.

"Yeah OK," I replied, heading towards the exit.

"Wait where ya goin?" He asked, looking up at me.

"Goin to go have lunch with Jason. You can go back to Stacy now. I'm sure she needs you more than me," I shot back, turning around to face him. Why was I getting jealous? I saw a look of hurt and jealousy in his eyes.

"Don't be like th-" he tried to say, but I cut him off.

"I don't wanna hear it Chase, I really don't. Bye." I said, walkin off. I left him there, standing in the middle of the hallway.

When I got to Jason's car, he tried to kiss me. I pushed him away, not wanting his lips near me. I wasn't in the mood.

"What's wrong with you?" He asked me as he opened the passenger side door so I could get in. He shut my door and climbed in himself.

"Nothing," I said, staring out my window.

Jason was acting sort of weird. He finally spoke up. "Reece, the other night I got drunk with some of the boys and slept with someone else," he said quickly, looking at me through the Corner of his eye. I didn't know what to say. I was emotionless.

"Stop the car and let me out," I said, my voice quivering as I said it. This wasn't the first time he's ever down this.

A couple weeks after we started dating, we went to a party together and we both had a couple drinks. A little later, Jason had wondered off and I went to go find him. I had eventually found him in bed with Stacy. This was when her and Chase her on a "break". I had broke up with Jason that night, and soon forgave him because he said it would never happen again. How stupid was I.
