3 weeks Later
"Reece would you just talk to him? We both know you want to. You're just scared to get hurt again," Cassie softly said while sitting next to me on my bed. It's been 3 weeks since Chase said all that stuff, and we've not even talked since then. "Cassie I broke him. I said no. I can't fix that even if tried. He won't even look at me. And he's back with that brown headed bimbo. Why did I have to say no? Why couldn't just tell him yes?" I exclaimed. I could feel fresh tears pricking my eyes. Cassie leaned over and hugged me. Rubbing my back in the process. "Baby sis, trust me. He wants you. He probably only did that to make himself stop thinking about you. If you'd get out of your hard-headed phase everything would be so much easier," she sighed. Right then, Cole walked in and sat down on my other side. "What the hell happened between you and Chase? He's been moppin around the stalls and you've not been down there to talk to him. Plus all you've done for the past 3 weeks and walk around like a zombie and guzzle down ice cream. Can't you see that that boy loves you?" I didn't know how to respond to that. "And you feel the same way," Clay piped up, barging into my room. "You know what? I don't care! He hates me now and it wouldn't have worked out anyway! Now all of you get out!" I screamed. Mom and dad were downstairs and I don't care if they heard me. All of them looked at me with a shocked expression. "Reece, if you'd pull your head out of your ass, you'd see just how wrong you are," Cassie spoke, standing up and walking out. The boys quickly followed her. Thank god they left. Chase hates me. He's not spoken to me at all in weeks. I'm pretty sure I need to have fun on my free Saturday and not listen to Cassie and the boys constant words that Chase loves me and all that stupid shit.
I leaned over and grabbed my phone. I texted Macy and asked if she wanted to ride around town and find something fun to do. Me and Mace made up last week because after all, she is my bestfriend. I got up and walked over to my dresser. I grabbed a white camisole then went to my closet. From there I grabbed a ligh purple t-shirt and a pair of blue jeans. I decided to grab my black beat up converse instead of my boots. After I put everything on, I checked my phone to see that Macy had texted back.
Macy: Yess! But can you pick me up?
Me: Yeah. Be ready in 20I grabbed my phone and car keys and headed downstairs. When I got downstairs, mom and dad were sitting on the couch watching some game show. "Can I go hang out with Mace?" I asked, trying to put on my best sweet voice. Since I was the youngest, mom and dad usually were pretty lean on what I do. "You have to be back by 6 though," Dad said sternly. "But my curfew isn't ti-" "No buts Reece. You heard your father," my mom spoke up. "Whatever," I mumbled, quiet enough to where they wouldn't hear me. "Oh and Reece?" My mom piped up. "Yeah?" "Your car is down by the barn," she said. My truck was somehow unfixable cause the boys messed with the radiator, so my parents bought me a new Chevrolet Malibu.
I just turned around and left. When I got outside, I noticed Chase's beat up truck parked beside it. Well shit. I forgot he was working today. I made my way to the barn, just to see Chase waxing my Car. Shirtless might I add. Why can't he just wear a shirt like everyone else? Once I got closer, I noticed he wasn't alone. The brown-headed goblin was sitting on a stack of hay typing away on her phone. Probably texting some other guy and ruining his life. Everyone knew that she cheated every chance she got, but Chase still stayed with her.
When I got to the back of my car, Chase and the wicked witch of the South (yes I know it's actually west, but we live in the south) noticed me. Monkey face jumped up and instantly made her way to Chase. I ignored them and waited for Chase to finish up with my car. Gremlin queen made sure to keep her hands all over Chase probably just to make me jealous. Once she saw my annoyed face, she continued to do it. "Mad cause you can't have him Reece?" Stacy smirked. That's it. I'm done with her. I walked right up to her and got in her face. "Stacy honey, I'd stop while your ahead," I challenged, ready for a fight. Chase gave me a shocked expression but I just ignored him. He quickly pulled out his phone and quickly did something then put it back in his jeans. "What? Do you actually think I'm afraid of you?" She laughed as she pushed me in the chest. This girl knew how to get my blood boiling. I took that moment to ball up my fist and deck her right in the nose. She stumbled back and held her nose, which started to bleed profusely. I saw Cassie our of the corner of my eye slowly make her way to me. "Cass I suggest you stay right where you are," I grumbled, ready to kill Stacy.
