Blair arrived at the coffee shop, nervous to walk inside. She felt like she was going to a birthday party when she only knew the birthday kid, forced to mingle with other random people.

She walked inside and was more than glad to see Logan was ordering a drink. Taking a deep breath, she walked right over to him and rubbed his shoulder, feeling that it was more "sexy" than a tap on the shoulder.

He turned around, a huge smile on his face,"Hey! I'm so glad you could make it! Ready to go up there and tell everyone about how cool starfish are."

Blair laughed, remembering just how strange her story was,"I just hope everyone is ready to have their minds blown."

Logan picked up two green tea lattes, handing one to Blair,"What about you, nervous at all to speak in front of people?"

In all honesty, Blair wasn't nervous at all. She'd been on debate club all four years of high school and had actually grown pretty fond of public speaking. She loved making eye contact with the audience and seeing their faces change based on what she said.

"Yeah, a little. I don't really have much experience speaking in front of people so I may look kind of awkward up there."

Jesus, why must I lie about stupid shit when I feel awkward?!!

Logan put his hand on Blair's shoulder, just like she'd done earlier," I'm sure you'll do great and if you don't I'll buy you an ice cream to make you feel better."

Blair put her hand on her heart,"My hero!"

Suddenly, Blair heard her name from the person on stage holding the microphone.

She bit her lip, trying her best to use her non existent theatre skills to fake some nervous jitters. I mean hey, she did want that ice cream.

Walking on stage, clutching a bundle of papers, she adjusted the microphone so it wouldn't be at her eyes.

"I'm Blair and this is my story..."

She read the story and did a cheesy bow when the audience clapped. Logan was slow clapping when she found him in the middle of the crowd.

"For someone who was nervous, you did amazing."

Deciding it was time to come clean Blair adjusted her necklace,"Okay, so I might have been on the debate team in high school and I kind of love public speaking."

Logan looked at Blair, all signs of emotion draining from his face," Wow, so you lied to me, Blair?"

Blair stared at her teacher, feeling like a child," Shit, i'm sorry. I lie when I'm feeling uncomfortable...or awkward. And, I feel awkward a lot. I also rant when I'm feeling awkward, which explains why I won't stop talking...I'm sorry, please don't hate me."

Struggling to keep the words from escaping her mouth, Blair felt her neck getting sweaty.

Logan grabbed Blair's shoulders," I'm kidding, Blair, calm down. Although, I have to admit your awkward ranting is pretty adorable."

"You think so...?" Blair said, flipping her hair ever so slightly.

Damn, where is this flirting coming from....BLAIR LIKEY

Logan grabbed Blair's hand and led her outside, proceeding to stroll through the quiet downtown. It was probably bustling and busy at one time in the past but since the popularity of the school, most people stayed close to the university and avoided the downtown scene all together. All that was left was some antique stores and a hardware store.

"Blair, do you like animals?"

Blair looked at Logan, a weird yet curious smile creeping up on her face," I love animals, why?"
