It was Sunday evening, the night after Blair had gone on the date with Logan. She'd felt excited at the prospect of someone actually liking her but Macy had warned her that it might be bad news when they'd discussed everything on the phone.
"He said you can't tell any of your friends?? Hell no, I have to help coach you through this shit, so he can just calm down."
"I'm serious Macy, don't tell anyone. I mean, you can tell Jack, but this has to be kept between us. I've never felt like this about anyone and I don't want some jealous classmate or meddling faculty member to end things."
"Okay, boo you have my word, I won't tell anyone...besides Jack."
Logan: Is it just me or is this rainy weather making it difficult to get anything done?
Blair: YES! I've been reading the same paragraph for about fifteen minutes. I just want to get in bed and watch movies.
Logan: You just described the ideal date night 🤔
Logan: I've been trying to finish grading papers all day but I keep getting distracted
Blair: Nooo, we have to motivate each other and keep each other from falling asleep!!
Logan: Uhhhh, but my bed is so cozy and work is boring
Blair: Lol, you have to finish! Okay, I'll try and keep you entertained...let's play 20 questions like back in middle school ;)
Logan: Hahah, okay, fine but only because I need a distraction AND I want to find out some dirt on you 👻
Blair: Question1: Okay, so what was high school like for YOU?
Logan: Horrible...I had this awful haircut and like, one friend. I tried so hard to fit in I couldn't wait to get out of there. What about you?
Blair: Okay, before I answer that, I demand a picture of you with the bad haircut ;)
Logan: Okay fine but don't judge me, I was a nerdy little 14 year old with no sense of style!
Blair: Awe, you still look cute! To answer your question, I too hated high school. I was constantly studying and i've always felt like I missed out on partying and dating :/
Logan: Well damn, us rejects would have been friends, our angst and antisocial lives
Blair: Okay, now ask me a question!!
Logan: Question2: What's your guilty pleasure?
Blair:.....I have a thing for disco music
Logan: That's amazing, no guilt needed! Mine would have to be candy, I can't get enough gummy bears
Blair: Please tell me you don't have a teeth full of cavities 😂
Logan: Nope, never had a cavity :)
Blair: Impressive!
Blair: Question3: First thing you notice when you meet someone?
Logan: Eyes...or bad grammar.
Blair: Nice. I always notice a person's smile, good teeth are a must.
Logan: Okay, question4: on a scale of 1-10 how bad was your first kiss
Blair: Oh god, 10!!! He tried to use too much tongue and got stuck in my braces.....
Logan: Hahaha
Logan: Okay, you win that round. Mine wasn't too awful, although it was during lunch and a lunch lady did awkwardly whistle at us
