The ride home was long and quiet. Blair sat in the backseat napping and listening to music. She felt like a kid again, before she had her driver's license so she didn't have to do anything but relax in the back seat.

When they finally pulled into the familiar driveway Blair smiled, a sense of relief washing over her. She'd finished another semester successfully and her parents  had somewhat said they liked Logan. That was enough to make her overjoyed.

Blair and her parents were so tired, all three agreed that they'd unload the car the next day. Right now all they wanted to do was order some pizza and relax.

Blair threw herself on the couch after she showered. There was always something about showering at night that put Blair in a tired trance. Her parents eventually fell asleep and Blair took shelter in the guest room. She had to admit, for all the anger she felt about losing her childhood bedroom, she did really like the guest room.

It was slightly bigger than her own bedroom and had a big tv hanging on the wall.

Note to self: tell mom the guest room isn't as bad as I thought....

The next morning Blair woke up to her parents shuffling around the house. She splashed some water on her face to wake her up before going to check on what was happening.

When she walked out of the guest room she found her parents had already begun unloading all of her things.

"Hey...I was going to help you guys unpack everything," Blair said, throwing a pair of shoes on quickly so she could go out and help.

"Oh we know you're tired from finals and everything, why don't you go and get breakfast for us. By the time you come back we'll be all done."

Not wanting to miss the opportunity Blair grabbed her mother's car keys, making her way outside. She got into the car and adjusted her seat and was taken back to her high school days when she was first learning to drive. Her mother had been a horrible teacher, yelling at her and making her fear the road. Somehow, through the many sessions of yelling and arguing Blair had gotten pretty good at driving.

Blair pulled up to the bagel shop that was about ten minutes from her house. She got two coffees for her parents and got some type of sugary latte drink that was somehow allowed to be labeled as "coffee". She picked up a box of six different bagels and an assortment of spreads.

Since it was 9 in the morning by the time Blair finished picking up food most of the morning rush of traffic had died down. Blair drove around town, feeling overly nostalgic. The town that had once been her home now felt distant to her. Suddenly, she was no longer a resident but was now a guest.

Just for kicks Blair drove to her old high school. The parking lot was full and for a second Blair forgot that high schoolers got out much later than college students. She drove around the school, remembering all the memories she'd made at the school. Some had been good like whenever she made a good grade on an exam and some had been awful, like when she'd accidentally sat on strawberry jam and her entire math class had laughed at her, thinking it was a period stain.

Either way, Blair was glad that she'd finished that stage in her life. Blair continued driving around town for about ten minutes, happily sipping her sugary drink along the way. By the time she got back home her parents had finished unpacking. The guest room was now filled to the brim with boxes and Blair knew that soon she would have to go through all the boxes to somewhat unpack her clothes and toiletry items.

"Blair, you look like you've seen a ghost," her mom said, grabbing a whole grain bagel from the box.

"Not a ghost, just a bunch of memories. I can't believe by this time next year I'll be done with school forever..."
