Drink Dare

You sat at your desk at your new school, SFIT, and waited for the the teacher to come in. You had a coffee in your hand, and hummed a little tune while waiting, when a guy came up to you and handed you an energy drink.
"I challenge you to put this in your coffee." He laughed. You looked up at him, dead in the eyes.

By now, more kids were coming in. One in particular caught your eye. He had black hair, a hat on, and he watched you as he sat down.

"Challenge accepted." You said to the guy who gave you the drink. And without another word, you opened the energy drink and poured it in your coffee.
"I am going to die." You say, before chugging down the drink. You nearly puked, but you finished it, nonetheless.

The guy who caught your eye came over to you, eyes wide. "What exactly did you put in your drink?" He asked. "An energy drink," You say, wiping your mouth with your sleeve, "Coffee and energy drinks don't mix."

Meanwhile, the guy who gave you the drink and his pals were all laughing their heads off, and congratulating you. 
"Dude, no one has ever accepted our challenge before," He told you, "You're tough, kid."

"You accepted their challenge?" The guy with the hat said. You nodded. "And never again am I accepting challenge's like that," You make a face of disgust. "That drink was gross. And I used all my money on that coffee." You chuckle a little.

"I can buy you a new coffee after class, if you want." The guy offered. "I'm Tadashi, by the way."

"I would like that, Tadashi. Thanks. I'm Y/n," You smile, "Nice to meet you."
