"You've grown up so much" I say pulling him into another hug, I was resting on my knees so I would be closer to his height. His arms slowly make their way around my waist.
"I've missed you" he whispers, only loud enough for me to hear.
"I have as well" I pull away and look at his one eye, the other was covered with an eyepatch. His eye was deep blue, something he got from his mother. He had got his bluish-black hair from his father.
"Would you mind introducing me?" I ask looking at the others that were surrounding him.
"Of course. Sebastian Michaelis, my butler" a man with black hair, red eyes and pale skin bows.
"Mey-Rin, the maid" a girl with maroon-red hair tied into two high ponytails and big circular glasses waves. I stand up as he continues.
"Finnian, the gardener" a young boy with strawberry-blonde hair held back with clips and turquoise eyes smiles brightly. His face immediately went red after I stood up.
"Baldroy, the chef" a man with blonde hair and turquoise eyes nods his head, a cigarette hanging from his mouth. He had a bright pink spread across his cheeks.
"And Tanaka, the steward" the elderly man with grey hair and a moustache stands with a cup in his hand. He gives off three short laughs, it was a little creepy and weird.
"Nice to meet you all. I'm Lady Rosemarie Hunter. The boy sitting on the floor is Lord Byron Hunter. My father, Duke Miles Hunter, and my mother, Duchess Vedetta Hunter, are currently elsewhere. They went to search for a telephone to contact you of our arrival"
"Oh Ciel, look how you've grown!" My mother comes in and engulfs Ciel in a hug.
Ciel tries to speak but it's muffled out by my mothers poofy hair. I look back to the gardener and chef, the red was still on their faces.
"Is there something wrong?" I ask them.
Finnian shakes his head violently while Baldroy quickly shakes his head once, keeping his eyes off of me.
"I believe it has something to do with your dress my lady" Sebastian says.
"What about my dress?" I look down to the red dress I was wearing. It reached mid thigh, I had a brown corset wrapped around my waist. My sleeves reached my wrist, the shoulders were cut out. "Oh you mean the length of it. This is something everyone wears back in France"
"What!" Baldroy yells, his face turning more red.
"Yeah. Not everybody, but they are more comfortable than those dresses" I say pointing to the dress my mother was wearing. "Now could someone show me to my room?"
"Right this way my lady" Sebastian says leading me up the staircase.
He leads me through multiple hallways and stops in front of a door. I step in and take in the beautiful room. The walls were a bright white. The bedsheets and curtains were black, matching the desk, dresser and the night table.
Sebastian placed my bag on the ground and turns to me, bowing."I hope you enjoy your stay" when he straightens up I could see his mouth was set in a smile, his eyes closed. "If you need anything, please call"
He walks out gracefully, leaving me to stand in the room alone. I walk to the giant window and look outside at the garden. The sky was a bright blue, the sun shining down made the garden look even more beautiful.
I lay down on the soft bed, the blankets hug my body. It felt like I was laying on a bed of roses, it was possible with the money the Phantomhive's had.
"Miss Rose, we are having dinner now" Richard says after knocking on my door.
"Alright" I get off the bed and walk with Richard to the dinning room.
Ciel was sitting at the head of the table, my family already took their seats. I sat next to Ciel and across from Byron. My mother sat beside me and my father sat next to Byron. The meal was amazing. The silence was awkward but the dessert made up for it. I turn around in my seat and look at the servants.
"Baldroy, you made this correct?"
"Yup" he says with a big smile on his face. He seemed very proud of himself.
"It's delicious" I praise with a smile and turn back around to continue eating.
"Thank you for the meal" I tell Ciel, bowing my head a little.
I'm lead back to my room by Sebastian. He opens the door for me and I walk in. Before he closes it I turn around and face him.
"Thank you Sebastian"
"It's my job my lady"
"No, thank you for taking care of Ciel. These two year must've been difficult for him. Losing his mother and father, then aunt. I couldn't be there for him, neither could the rest of my family. I'm happy he's turned into the boy he is today"
"It was my pleasure" he bows, a hand over his heart, a smile on his face that didn't exactly show happiness. It was a smile that told me there was more to the story than what I knew.
