The Demon's Angel (Sebastian x OC)

A Second Guarddog

"A curry contest?" I ask, watching Sebastian cook.

"Yes" he says adding some ingredients to a pot.

We arrive to where the contest was being held. Sebastian heads inside to prepare for the contest. Soma runs off somewhere, the rest of us secretly follow. He runs up to a girl with black hair, hugging her. They talk and then the girl walks away, leaving Soma. I walk up to him and place a hand on his shoulder, he just continues to stare into the distance.

"Come on, let us return to the others"

I lead us back to the group and we go to the main area of the contest.

"The curry festival will now begin!" The announcer booms.

All the contestants were standing on stage. Standing with two other judges was the same blonde haired man from the frost fair. He waves to the audience, a big smile on his face. He looks in my direction and winks. I sweat drop and look away, only now noticing Soma had vanished.

A red carpet is rolled out. At the end of it stood the queen in a black dress and a man in a white suit. They walked down the carpet as the audience started singing. They stand next to a chair and the man in white announces something. I don't bother listening because I was too focused on where Soma had ran off to.

The contest starts as the contestants begin their curry. All were working hard, wanting to win. Sebastian then starts adding chocolate to the curry, making the crowd go crazy. I watch as he talks to Agni and I can see his lips form the words 'I am simply one hell of a butler'. I roll my eyes as Agni takes out a blue lobster.

They finish, all presenting their curry to the judges one at a time. The first contestant seemed to do ok. The second, which was Agni, gained amazing compliments. They all seemed amazed and in love. Finally it was Sebastian. He handed them three buns, the curry no where in sight. They cut into it, revealing the curry. The judges all loved it. I see Ciel shiver in discomfort at the blonde's comment. I raise an eyebrow at his action but pay no mind to it.

Sebastian brings one of his curry buns to the queen. She seems to enjoy it, but somebody yells drawing the attention away from her. The girl Soma was talking to, Mina, was glowing purple, her eyes glowing pink. The police try to detain her but she hits them away.

The blonde guy, who I learned was Aleistor Chamber, was praising the way she was moving. Then he got squished by one of the police she threw. I walk over and lend a hand.

"Are you alright?" I ask, trying to be nice.

"I am now my dear" he says, standing up and kissing my hand. "So glad to speak with you again"

Before I can speak more people start glowing purple, all trying to reach the queen. Ciel runs to block her, but ends up getting surrounded. Sebastian jumps in to save him. Sebastian then starts to fight Mina, using a scoop to deflect her rapid punches.

I stand next to Ciel, the queen and her butler. The butler begins to talk but I'm paying too much attention to Mina who started to charge the queen. Soma stood in front of us, using himself as a shield, but Mina slips. Soma then puts his foot on her back, holding her down. Sebastian throws the buns into everyone's mouths, turning them back to normal.

"The winner has been decided" the queens butler says.

With the contest over we all start to leave. However the queens butler comes up to us, speaking for the queen.

"She bids me tell you, I'm sorry for your hardship but know that I am watching your work closely. I am in the light, as you are in the shadows. Though our positions are different we strive for the same thing. I ask that you please continue to aid her majesty" he bows, his white hair covering his eyes.

"Yes" Ciel responds. My eyebrows twitch as his short response.

"Then I will bid you fair well. And Lady Rosemarie, I wish for you to aid her majesty as well" he says turning to me. I take a step back in shock. "Her majesty is aware of your skill, so am I. It would be a pleasure having you help" he grabs my hand gently and kisses it. I can hear a growl come from beside me, where Sebastian stood.

I blink my eyes a couple of times before answering. "I'd be honoured, and may I ask your name?"

He turns around but gives me an answer before walking away. "Ash Landers"

Mey-Rin comes over to me, jumping up and down giddily. I look at her confused. She stops and backs away, not making the moment any less awkward. The sun had started setting, casting a shadow on all of us. Soma wraps his arms around Ciel, crying. Ciel tries to pry him off but he isn't strong enough. I laugh to myself, happy I wasn't the one being held against my will.

I was happier now than I have ever been. I was going to work with Ciel, be by his side through all the difficulties he was to face. And that butler, he was going to be there too. That I wasn't as excited about.
