Ghosts are Real

"There's no such thing as ghosts. They cant-" Ciel stops himself then looks up at his butler.

"You seem unsure of that" he says.

I listen to their conversation while we walk through a castle in the middle of renovations. We walk inside the main building. There was a painting hung on the wall of two blonde boys. Ciel began talking but he was cut off by the doors slamming shut. Then the candle seem to light on their own, revealing a table.

"Who gave you permission to enter my castle" a voice says. Suddenly a blonde haired boy with blue eyes appears before us.

"What the hell? First demon hounds now ghosts!" I hide my face in my hands, trying to calm my anger and disbelief.

"I am Edward the fifth" when the blonde man says this I raise my head up in shock.

Ciel walks up to him after Sebastian introduces him. He then gets down on one knee, bowing, then stands back up.

"Please excuse my rudeness. I was unaware that your majesty was currently in residence"

"Fine you're forgiven, I don't get many guests after all" Edward says.

I stare on in shock.

Ghosts are real and Ciel just bowed to him. I'm going crazy, I just know it.

"I'm not a guest. In fact my company owns this castle. I'd like you to vacate the premises" Ciel says.

"You're trying to evict the king and his brother?" Edward asks.

I see another blonde boy poke his head out. He looked younger than Edward. He had a skull in his hands.

We are led to a room with a long table. Ciel and Edward play a game of chess, making a wager on it. If Edward won he got the butler. If Ciel won he got the estate.

"Why don't we make it more interesting, if I win I get the butler..." he pauses for dramatic effect then looks at me. "And the girl"

My eyes widen, so do Ciel's. Ciel agrees nonetheless and they start the game. It went by quickly and Ciel lost. I stand with my mouth hanging wide open. I couldn't believe I was going to be living here with two ghosts and Sebastian from now on. The little boy, or Richard, runs over to us and grabs onto Sebastian's sleeve and my dress. I sigh, knowing there was nothing to do about this.

"Earl Phantomhive i'd like to play some more, so you will stay here as my guest" Edward says.

"I am honoured your majesty" Ciel bows his head and Edward leads me and Sebastian out through a door. I look back to Ciel then hurry beside them.

I sit in the bedroom given to me. I sigh then feel a weight appear on the bed beside me. Edward was sitting there.

"Dinner is ready" he says grabbing my hand and leading me out the door. He drags me down a winding staircase and to the dinning room.

I sat across from Richard and Ciel sat across from Edward, at the head of the table. Sebastian serves the food and I slowly start eating. Richard was talking to his skull. I look down to the other end of the table where Ciel was sitting. The table was long and me and Richard were right next to Edward.

"Now I propose a toast to our new friend, butler and queen" I spit out the drink I was drinking as he says this.

"What!" I scream, not caring about how loud I was. I could see Ciel at the other end of the table trying to calm himself.

"A king must have a queen by his side, and you are the ideal queen" he says placing a hand over mine. Luckily Sebastian came to clean up the mess I made, meaning he had to retract his hand.

We finish and go to bed. I couldn't sleep after hearing what Edward had said so I decided to go for a walk. I pass by a room and hear faint talking. It sounded like Ciel calling for Sebastian.

I open the door to see Ciel trying to tie up his shoelace. I walk up to him and help him tie it. Sebastian then appears.

"You sure are helplesss without me, can't even tie your own shoelace" he says as I finish tying.

"No need to be rude, it's only natural. I wouldn't know how to tie a shoelace if I didn't ask Richard to teach me. I don't have a butler who waits on me hand and foot like you do for him" I retort.

"Thank you" Ciel mutters while I stand up.

"I'll be off now, make sure you get some rest Ciel" I tell Ciel then stand next to Sebastian, lowering my voice so if a certain ghost was listening they wouldn't hear. "And Sebastian, please try to find a way out of this. I know you don't want to be here as much as I do" he goes to walk to Ciel but I grab his arm, not finished talking. "No matter what, do not leave his side. Without you he cannot live"

I walk back to my room and lay in bed. I try and sleep but my eyes don't seem to want to stay closed. I lay awake all night staring at the ceiling. The thought of marrying a ghost floating through my mind.
