Fallen Angel

I wake up and remove the blindfold from my face. I was no longer in my dress, but a white dress that looked almost angelic. I didn't know why I was brought here but I needed to find a way out, and possibly Ciel. I didn't know if he was brought to the same place as me or not.
I perch myself up on my hands, looking around at the library I was in.

"What on earth" I mumble

"Not earth my dear" I hear someone giggle.

"Who the hell!"

"Wrong again" they continue laughing.

"Where..."

"You're in the grim reaper's world my dear" a voice says. "And you are dressed as an angel"

"An angel? Why?" I was very confused.

"You are a fallen angel. You fell from battle many years ago. You've been reincarnated as Rosemarie Hunter" they explain.

"No it's not true" I say in disbelief.

"I'm afraid it is"

"Why am I here?" I ask.

"Because I am going to return you back to heaven"

"I'm not going to heaven!" I yell looking around, trying to find the source of the voice. "I'm going back to earth, with Ciel and Sebastian"

The voice hisses when I say Sebastian. "Why do you wish to be around that demon"

"Who are you to be saying such things"

"Angela"

"An angel" I gasp as she walks in front of me. She had wings coming from her back.

"Yes. Now relax, in order to regain access back into heaven I must cleanse your memories"

A bright light appears in front of me for a moment until I realize what is happening. I can't have her cleanse my memories. She will replace them and change them.

"No way. Get away from me" I stand up and back up, trying to get away from her. She only comes closer.

Just as she was about to reach me I sprint the opposite direction, my bare feet slapping against the wooden floor. There were no exits, only ladders and books. I could hear her flapping wings behind me but after a while of running they disappeared. I huff a sigh of relief and pause, trying to regain my breath.

"Now to find someone who will help me" I mutter walking down the long paths.

I stop in front of one of the shelfs. The books each had two letters on the spine. I pick up one with the letters RH inscribed on the spine. I open it to a page and read a sentence.

She learns about the existence of demon hounds.

I flip to another page.

Meets a prince.

Another page.

Learns about ghosts.

Another.

She meets the angel Angela who tells her of her past life. She is a fallen angel who has been reincarnated.

My eyes widen. Every page I turn to describes my life. I run, the book in hand, desperately trying to find someone who will help me.

My feet hit the ground one by one. It becomes harder to breathe the more I run, but I don't stop, I can't. Then it seems time has stopped. None of my feet are on the ground. I appear back in the church and my feet touch the ground once more. I don't stop running though, I run out of the church and as far as I could make it. Eventually I stop, thinking I was far enough away from everything.

I open the book again but go to the very beginning. It mentions nothing about me being an angel. I close the book in frustration and look around. The whole community had become rubble, nothing left standing.

I fall to the floor and hug myself. The book pushed tightly to my chest. I slow my breathing and try to relax. I open the book once again but flip to a more recent page. I skimmed through it but one thing caught my eye.

She has started coming to the conclusion that Sebastian is not human, but she does not know his true form.

I flip to the last page with something written on it but more words appeared. The book seemed to be writing itself. I read it as it was being written.

Sebastian came looking for her, only to find her sitting on the ground reading the book as it was happening.

I hear someone clear their throat then see a pair of shoes in front of me. I look up to find Sebastian looming over me. I quickly shut the book and stand up. When I stand up my feet start to hurt. From all the running in bare feet and from standing on sharp rocks. I start to wobble, trying to find a way to stand without my feet hurting, but it was impossible.

"Allow me to help" Sebastian says while picking me up bridal style.

I only stare at him, clutching the book in my hand so hard my knuckles turned red. I couldn't believe it. In the beginning I would never have thought any of these beings exist, yet I used to be one. I couldn't believe the man who I thought was just 'one hell of a butler' was...
