Chapter Two: Introduction with the Real World

"Hey little diary!

It's your girl Liza, coming at you!

So.. today is the 15th. I felt like I had to talk with you before going to school.

I am ready. ....who am I joking? I am dead inside. And I feel like something is going to kill me more..

I am going to school now, I don't want to be late, since it's the first day, I will tell you everything when I come back.

Little brown girl, is out.

Liza's P.O.V

My new school is not that far away from my house, but I had to get early since I am walking to get there. Either my father, nor Monica bothered to remember that it was kind of an important day for me, so neither of them drove me to school. I am not going to lie, a small talk on the way would've made me slightly happier and less nervous. The only one who cared and came to my room to give me a huge hug and wish me luck, was Erika, my little angel.

I finally reached school, and I was amazed. The school was beautiful and I got a bit excited for today.

Since I was early I was walking around, exploring the school, and I went to sit on one of the benches of the school yard, figuring out all of my classes for today, when I hear a girl yell,

"Hey you!"

I turned around assuming that since she didn't use a name, maybe she referred to me.

"Sorry, are you talking to me?" I softly said.

"Who are you?" that tall, blonde girl asked me.

My lips formed a small grin and I answered "My name is..Liza" while I went nearer to her and 2 other girls that were behind her. I reached my hand to her so I could give her a handshake, but all I got as a response was a huge hysterical laugh from all 3 of them combined.

"Omg Sabrina, she really wants to shake your hand, lmmaoo" one of the girls that were behind her said.

My grin slowly disappeared from my face and my hand fell down.

"So, Liza is the new word they use for ugly now?-Sabrina
said,-Well, the name is ugly so, it fits perfectly"

"Well, there are a lot of other synonyms for Liza, Saab, such as ugly, fat, stupid, etc"-that other girl behind her said.

I stayed there listening to all the horrible things they had to say about me, when I didn't even know them, as tears slowly started to form in my eyes. I went back to the bench, I took my backpack, and I ran away, while they were still laughing out loud with each other and still making fun of me.

I entered the school and I was running down the hallways crying. when I accidentally hit someone.

"Watch out girl!"

"I am so sorry"-I said, and you could easily tell I was crying because of my voice.

"What the..what's wrong? Is everything ok?"-the person I just hit asked me.

"I..I.. am fi..fine" I said, crying.

I, then went and I hugged a complete stranger which I had never seen in my life.

"Why are you crying, please tell me.."

"This girl.. I didn't do anything to her and she, she just started insulting me..."

"You mean Sabrina? That little b*tch"

The fact that I didn't have to describe her at all made me realize that she is very rude to everyone, it's wasn't a personal thing, why would it be though? I had never seen her in my life.

"It's okay, don't worry. She has always been like that."

"I'm Gabbie, what's your name?"

"I am Liza.."

We slowly started walking down the hallway as we talked about each other, and we surprisingly became friends.

"I have to go, I'm going with my family to Pennsylvania for a few days and I have to get home. I just came to tell the principal, that I had to get some days off school. Don't worry, we'll have a lot more time to talk when I come back. And don't worry about that little sl*t, that's her hobby."

"Thanks for everything, and have a great time in Pennsylvania!"

"Byee" she said waving at me, and then she left.

That was very sweet of you, thanks for sending her to make me feel better.
