"Girl, why haven't you posted a picture of you and Nathan kissing on Social Media? You have to rub it in their faces that you are dating the sexiest model in town! Okay, the affection you show in public is cute, but you have to show off more!" Gabbie was telling me when we were walking down the hallway.
"It's because we haven't kissed. Ever."
"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!"
Everyone turns around to see what was going on.
"Gabbie calm down." "It's not that big of a deal"
"What do you fucking mean it's not a big deal?"
"You have been dating for 2 freaking months!"
"Yes. But we haven't kissed yet. I am waiting for the right moment and the right person. I want it to be something special."
"Are you kidding me? What do you mean Liza?"
"Do you think he is not the right person to make you happy?"
"I don't know."
"Please oh Lord, tell me this confusion is not about David."
"Whaat?! Noo. He is a forgotten story. I don't give a fuck about him anymore."
"Good. At least there goes one concern."
"But omg girl, what kind of luck do you have?! He has been waiting for a kiss for 2 freaking months? And he is still with you?"
"He understands and respects me Gabbie."
"He promised me, he would never do anything to upset me. He won't kiss me without my permission. I will wait for the right moment."
"And I think the right moment has arrived."
"I will k..."
I stop talking and for a split second my heart skips a beat.
My eyes interlock with David's, which was just a few meters away from me.
I can see pain in them.
But I don't care.
I take my eyes off him.
"Yes I am going to kiss him tonight and probably we'll do more than that."
I said that loudly enough, making sure that David heard it.
"Ohhh" I than hear Gabbie say and we both laugh and walk away.
